This weeks show covers the mysterious events surrounding
the Russian un-manned spacecraft Phobos 2. Phobos 2 was sent to Mars in
1988 with the intention of sending back images of one of Mars's two
moons, Phobos. Some very unusual events occured as the craft approached
its target position. Firstly, it took phographs of the surface
of Mars showing a huge cigar shaped shadow which moved and which nobody could explain.
The shadow must have been cause by a solid object in space, but what of?
Second, as Phobos 2 came into proximity of Phobos, it unexpectedly ceased operating.
Could these two phenomenon be related? Did a huge UFO disable the Phobos 2 Probe? Based
on the evidence this seems to be the most likely scenario. Also in this weeks show
Scott Felton talks about how he became interested in the UFO subject.
