Two young sweethearts died after they hanged themselves from the same branch of a tree, an inquest heard today.

The bodies of Charlie Eccleston, 19, and Zaiga Gravenieks, 20, were found in woodland in Shenley, Hertfordshire on the morning of November 5, 2017.

When police found them, Ms Gravenieks' arm was around Mr Eccleston's shoulder 'as if cradling him' - and on the trunk of the tree the words 'towards eternity' and '4 Ever' had been spray painted to a heart symbol, the inquest heard.
