George Tuck is a radio HAM operator. It is alleged that the U.S. government are seeking powers that would allow them to switch off the internet. If telephone networks and internet were shut off where would that leave us? Radio transmission is an alternative method of communication which has become less prevalent since the rise of the world wide web. With a radio HAM set one can communicate over fairly large distances, so this medium could come into its own if draconian controls over the internet are attempted. Also on this weeks show George Tuck explains why he suspects the authorities may have thought he had foreknowledge of the Lockerbie plane bombing, which in turn suggests it was not a Libyan plot, but anyone with their eyes open knows that anyway.
