The USS Fitzgerald rammed a larger ship resulting in the death of several of its crew.
Here is a darkly humourous reason for the collision taken from the historic log of another American warship.

The first article is about a bill that is about to be voted into law in Canada.

The second was written before hand about the consequences of such a bill being passed and they are coming to pass.

Do you remember the "Not the nine o clock news"sketch where the police man arrested a person of colour for "Looking at me in a funny way"? How long before these people of such sensitive feelings demand this act be classed as a crime?

This could turn out to be a can of worms.

https://heatst.com/world/muslim-groups-campaign-to-turn-catholic-cathedral-in-spain-i nto-shared-worship-space/

Will there be call for the same to be done at the Santa Sophia? That was a church for over 900 years, then a mosque, then church, then mosque, now a museum.

Will practicing pagans demand their holy sites back? The early church, to encourage the take up of Christianity, build church's on these sites.

China is ratcheting up the financial pain on South Korea for allowing those THAAD systems in.

May is doing a terrific job of showing the people her true character. She should have stepped in and sorted this mess out. Like most politicians she talked about helping those who survived, after most of the public had donated many items for those left homeless.
Those moronic imbeciles who are treating the survivors in this cold blooded bureaucratic manner need sacking or sent to empathy classes.

Regarding a potential Grenfell cover-up......via a protracted enquiry lasting many years where many who could/should be held accountable for neglect of duty of care right through to the choices of building materials and cost cuts which may have ensured the fire accelerant cladding be used rather than safer materials.

Yes I can see this going on for years and years. Companies going conveniently bust. Directors/politicians/councillors and other decision makers retiring and/or meeting a higher authority long before any justice can be meeted out. Was the alleged source of the fire - the exploding fridge - a new model or one of those known for misbehaving. Could there have been anything 'improper' being stored in that fridge? Probaby not - but it is a question that should be asked.

Remind you of anything else?

For me it looks like another Hillsborough where the relatives had to wait 27 years for the cover-up of all sorts of mismanagement on that dreadful day to be fully aired in public.

Regarding a potential Grenfell cover-up

Some very eye opening revelations on UK Column website especially their 15th and 20th June editions. Stories of highly relevant web pages vanishing and a suggestion that the number of bodies may have been wildly under reported.

I also received an email suggesting that the DWP had initially told victims they risked being sanctioned if they didn't sign as usual. That threat is now reportedly withdrawn.

One more thing that bugs me: If victims are to receive 5500 initial sums to rebuild their lives, does this count towards the 6000 figure above which benefits are reduced or even removed?

This is a compilation of interviews of the people who live near the Grenville tower, that you will not see on the news. At around the 6.00 min mark there is a very good rant from a local, to a journalist whose cameraman did not turn on his camera till he was part way through.

I wonder if conversations like this take place in most of the committee rooms of the worlds governments, not just Israel. Sadly I would have to say yes.

The American military base in Qatar is the largest they have in the Middle East. Did you know it was built and its running costs paid for by the Qatari's?

Since the Donald has taken the Saudi Arabians side, do you think this arrangement will continue?

the Israeli soldier has total contempt for the Palestinians in Gaza. Is this an innate feeling or is it passed down to them by their religious leaders?

When the presstitutes falsely, reported that Ghadaffi had given viagra to his troops to rape the women of, I think it was Benghazi. There was world uproar over the bestiality of such an action. Yet there is deafening silence when it comes to Israel.
