I will try geordy/DURHAM language--- WHERE THE FOOK ARE YOU ALL? IF RICH HAD ASKED ME TO INVESTIGATE THE SO CALLED 'BRISTOL CHANNEL' TRIANGLE, because of my background, I could have instantly told him about the E.U. coastal water effluent law( although not British law ), whereby ( and rightly so ) instead of issuing our shite 100yards off shore, we must comply with E.U. Regulations and treat the shite ,( which since victorian times or less said FOOK EM, ). SIR EDWARD HEATH, the founder of E.U. declarations which evolved into our now ( and for the better ) cleaner,sea-coasts, interior countryside and urban/city environments , ( me non political, but will always give support for MY OWN AGENDA ), MR HEATH SAID 'FOLLOWING MY HISTORIC AGREEMENT WITH MY COLLEGUES, OUR BRITISH COAST'S AND COASTLINE WILL BE INSTANTLY IMPROVED BY MEANS OF RIGID ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS AND STRINGENT CONSTRAINTS. YES he had an interest because he was a sailor/yachtman(i havent tryed to spell that since i was about 3). ANYWAY - what I am saying is the so called 'mud' covered triangular shape does exist in a tangible form , comprised of -SAND(4X), CEMENT(3X), AGGREGATE (8X), AS AN OLD ROMAN MIX WOULD BE. Not that it is roman but that the mixture is conducive to sea-water and the shape is conducive to an excention to a 100 yard off-shore discharge protective joint/junction or permanet seal.
Perhaps RICHARD may open a new or consider a new category of ' WHO IS PROFESSIONALLY WILLING TO ADVISE ON AN OBJECT/ANONNOMALLY OR SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE OF STRANGE OBJECTS , PRIOR TO SPENDING HIS HARD time chasing ghosts and making a bloody fool of himself doing so! WELSH triangle, my surname belays my origins paternally, maternally , CYMRU AM BYTH.

Strangely, the person who told me about that triangle probably knows more about Welsh history than ANYONE! Also, we still do not know what is underneath the stones. It is believed that in this part of the world there was a massive coastal civilisation before 600AD which was wiped out by a huge comet. The triangle may be a remnant of that.

The point about making a fool of myself : that is the point. The fact that I am prepared to make a fool of myself is partly what I am about. Too many researchers take themselves too seriously.

We do not know what is underneath the stones because a certain well known TV celebrity from the north east who looks like Brian Ferry,no names mentioned, though that the greatest discovery known to Welsh kind was not worth risking his best shoes over !

I heard that a psnami wave funneled up the Bristol channel in the dark ages destroying everything in its path.

Agreed Richard,we need to have a laugh man,a day without laughter is a day wasted.

Rich, If only you had visited the NEWPORT centre of antiquities. They are currently restoring an IRON AGE BOAT , which was discovered not too far from where you was filming ! I state conclusively that what you was indicated on GOOGLE, or the likes, along with persons who may have alerted you, was a man made concrete structure and I am willing to put a 100 wager that I am correct. You just put your losing wager into your programs and research !
I am not wrong. take as long as you like I do not want to divert you from your other important work. I mean this sincerely.I would rather you continue your current activities than spend time on this silly wager. If it takes 50 years, please believe me.
E-MAIL me if I am so sure and I will give you the names of the contractors, company, engineer and N.R.A.( national rivers authority-assimulated into the Welsh arm of ENVIRONMENT AGENCY-WALES , circ. 1996 ).

I also heard that certain other archealogical finds in this area hand funds pulled deliberatley becasue the establishment London based historians do not want to change their incorrect theories about British history. Email me the details about the boat to richard@richplanet.net and I will pass them onto a historian who will be very interested.

Changing the subject here !
I want to ask you ALL a big question.
Why are you personally drawn to Ufology ?
This is a huge question and think carefully before
you answer because I think you will be surprised
if you are honest with yourself.

A. Because there is undisputable evidence that intelligent life, more advanced than human kind has and continues to visit Earth.

B. By definition these intelligences must have more answers to life the universe and everything than any human being does.

THE aliens are out there and Earth had better watch out, at least according to Stephen Hawking. He has suggested that extraterrestrials are almost certain to exist but that instead of seeking them out, humanity should be doing all it that can to avoid any contact.

The suggestions come in a new documentary series in which Hawking, one of the world's leading scientists, will set out his latest thinking on some of the universe's greatest mysteries.

Alien life, he will suggest, is almost certain to exist in many other parts of the universe: not just in planets, but perhaps in the centre of stars or even floating in interplanetary space.

Hawking's logic on aliens is, for him, unusually simple. The universe, he points out, has 100 billion galaxies, each containing hundreds of millions of stars. In such a big place, Earth is unlikely to be the only planet where life has evolved.

"To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational," he said. "The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like."

The answer, he suggests, is that most of it will be the equivalent of microbes or simple animals the sort of life that has dominated Earth for most of its history.

One scene in his documentary for the Discovery Channel shows herds of two-legged herbivores browsing on an alien cliff-face where they are picked off by flying, yellow lizard-like predators. Another shows glowing fluorescent aquatic animals forming vast shoals in the oceans thought to underlie the thick ice coating Europa, one of the moons of Jupiter.

Such scenes are speculative, but Hawking uses them to lead on to a serious point: that a few life forms could be intelligent and pose a threat. Hawking believes that contact with such a species could be devastating for humanity.

He suggests that aliens might simply raid Earth for its resources and then move on: "We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn't want to meet. I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach."

He concludes that trying to make contact with alien races is "a little too risky". He said: "If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans."

The completion of the documentary marks a triumph for Hawking, now 68, who is paralysed by motor neurone disease and has very limited powers of communication. The project took him and his producers three years, during which he insisted on rewriting large chunks of the script and checking the filming.

John Smithson, executive producer for Discovery, said: "He wanted to make a programme that was entertaining for a general audience as well as scientific and that's a tough job, given the complexity of the ideas involved."

Hawking has suggested the possibility of alien life before but his views have been clarified by a series of scientific breakthroughs, such as the discovery, since 1995, of more than 450 planets orbiting distant stars, showing that planets are a common phenomenon.

So far, all the new planets found have been far larger than Earth, but only because the telescopes used to detect them are not sensitive enough to detect Earth-sized bodies at such distances.

Another breakthrough is the discovery that life on Earth has proven able to colonise its most extreme environments. If life can survive and evolve there, scientists reason, then perhaps nowhere is out of bounds.

Hawking's belief in aliens places him in good scientific company. In his recent Wonders of the Solar System BBC series, Professor Brian Cox backed the idea, too, suggesting Mars, Europa and Titan, a moon of Saturn, as likely places to look.

Similarly, Lord Rees, the astronomer royal, warned in a lecture earlier this year that aliens might prove to be beyond human understanding.

"I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can't conceive," he said. "Just as a chimpanzee can't understand quantum theory, it could be there are aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains."

I thought I`d get answers like that !
Steven Hawking may have a brain but that`s all.
Richard, you sort of answered the question in a
politician kind of way, they`re gettin to you !!!
My reason is.....I can`t evolve without personal
interaction with a higher intelligence and there
are none on Earth so I`m looking elsewhere.
How`s that for answer ?
