I uderstand your concern for the the guy ds, I also feel sorry for him but this forum is a place for the discussion of truth, posting of facts and interesting stuff, debunking disinfo etc. Unfortunately people with "issues" are also attracted. Their ravings must not be allowed to be accepted as fact by the more naive as this will only lead to further misunderstanding. The other people to watch out for are the wind-up merchants who just post bollocks for a laugh or their own entertainment. The only medium an internet forum offers for identification is the written question and in turn the responce.

Much of what is discussed here is impossible to prove,my pet hate is chem trails.
I dont like photos either, anyone[exept me ofcourse] can fabricate anything with a little knowledge of computers.
Crop circles are a bit iffy too, though i do think something high tech is responsible for some of them...but thats just 'my opinion'.

Ive had many a laughing fit watching 'channelers',I saw one guy apparently go into a trance, then put on a Pakistani accent and become a 12th century Buddist Lama !
That was even funnier than the funniest scene fron Life of Brian.

However, perhaps some people do communicate with other life forms, and even if they are barking mad that does not necessatate insults,a little sarcasm is funny, but outrught abuse is not.

Agreed. I tried to help him (that was a serious link to an honest group that deal with exactly this type of delusion) but at 76 he`s only listening to the voices in his head now...

Channellers - cold readers - mystics - etc. etc. How many more times do people like Derren Brown and others with the same inside knowledge, have to peel away the lies and expose these people and show how ALL of their fakery is achieved? some people just 'HAVE' to 'believe' despite the overwhelming amount of evidence I`m afraid. It`s a flaw with a certain section of humans...

I have just finished reading Lloyd Pye's 'The Starchild skull'. Anyone familiar with the expected DNA results ? I think they have already seen part of it.

Genghis Khan's Blue Eyes and Red Hair

The Mongol leader Temujin (AD 1167-1227), better known by his title Genghis Khan (Universal Ruler), was a man of strongly Nordish racial ancestry. According to the Persian historian Ab ul Ghasi, the tribal clan to which Temujin belonged, were known as the Bourchikoun (Grey-Eyed Men). The ancestral mother and founder of this clan was known as Alan goa (beautiful Alan). According to the Mongol and Chinese legends on the subject, she was said to have been visited in her tent by a divine being, who possessed golden hair, a fair complexion and grey eyes. Shortly after this visitation, she gave birth to the first member of the Bourchikoun clan.

Genghis Khan himself was noted in Chinese descriptions of him, for his tall 6'7? stature and heavy beard. We should also note the following depiction of Temujin's appearance, as given by Harold Lamb, in his biography of the great Khan:

"He must have been tall, with high shoulders, his skin a whitish tan. His eyes, set far apart under a sloping forehead, did not slant. And his eyes were green, or blue-grey in the iris, with black pupils. Long reddish-brown hair fell in braids to his back." [Lamb (1928) 23.]

Ab ul Ghasi also observed that the family of Yesukai, the father of Temujin, were known for the fact that their children often had fair complexions, and blue or grey eyes.

No accurate portraits of Genghis exist today, and any surviving depictions are considered to be artistic interpretations. Persian historian Rashid-al-Din recorded in his "Chronicles" that the legendary "glittering" ancestor of Genghis was tall, long-bearded, red-haired, and green-eyed. Rashid al-Din also described the first meeting of Genghis and Kublai Khan, when Genghis was shocked to find that Kublai had not inherited his red hair.

According to other first hand accounts recorded by al-Din, from sources as widespread as Marco Polo to Zhao Hong, Genghis's family was noted in particular for its propensity in producing various shades of red hair.

Genghis's Borjigid clan, al-Din also reveals a legend involving their origins: it began as the result of an affair between Alan-ko and a stranger to her land, a tall glittering man who had red hair and bluish-green eyes.

The Chinese civilization always contained stories of blue-eyed and blonde-haired leaders who were the originators of Buddhism and who were the first leaders and organizers of Chinese society. These stories were always regarded as pure legend until the 1977 discovery of the graveyards of the Tocharians in the Takla Makan desert in China. The Tocharian mummies naturally preserved in the dry desert sands are unequivocally clear Nordic racial types.

Chinese legend maintains that the first Chinese emperors who brought unity and civilization to China had fair or blue eyes. This legend can now be confirmed as fact.

IS THERE A SANTA CLAUS?

As a result of an overwhelming lack of requests, and with research help from a renowned scientific journal - I am pleased to present the annual scientific inquiry into Santa Claus.

1) No known species of reindeer can fly. BUT there are 300,000 species of living organisms yet to be classified, and while most of these are insects and germs, this does not COMPLETELY rule out flying reindeer which only Santa has ever seen.

2) There are 2 billion children (persons under 18) in the world. BUT, since Santa doesn't (appear) to handle the Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and Buddhist children, that reduces the workload to 15% of the total - 378 million according to Population Reference Bureau. At an average (census) rate of 3.5 children per household, that's 91.8 million homes. One presumes there's at least one good child in each.

3) Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west (which seems logical). This works out to 822.6 visits per second. This is to say that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1/1000th of a second to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill the stockings, distribute the remaining presents under the tree, eat whatever snacks have been left, get back up the chimney, get back into the sleigh and move on to the next house. Assuming that each of these 91.8 million stops are evenly distributed around the earth (which, of course, we know to be false but for the purposes of our calculations we will accept), we are now talking about .78 miles per household, a total trip of 75.5 million miles, not counting stops to do what most of us must do at least once every 31 hours, plus feeding, etc.

This means that Santa's sleigh is moving at 650 miles per second, 3,000 times the speed of sound. For purposes of comparison, the fastest man- made vehicle on earth, the Ulysses space probe, moves at a poky 27.4 miles per second - a conventional reindeer can run, tops, 15 miles per hour.

4) The payload on the sleigh adds another interesting element. Assuming that each child gets nothing more than a medium-sized Lego set (2 pounds), the sleigh is carrying 321,300 tons, not counting Santa, who is invariably described as overweight. On land, conventional reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that "flying reindeer" (see point #1) could pull TEN TIMES the normal amount, we cannot do the job with eight, or even nine. We need 214,200 reindeer. This increases the payload - not even counting the weight of the sleigh - to 353,430 tons. Again, for comparison - this is four times the weight of the Queen Elizabeth.

5) 353,000 tons travelling at 650 miles per second creates enormous air resistance - this will heat the reindeer up in the same fashion as spacecrafts re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The lead pair of reindeer will absorb 14.3 QUINTILLION joules of energy. Per second. Each. In short, they will burst into flame almost instantaneously, exposing the reindeer behind them, and create deafening sonic booms in their wake. The entire reindeer team will be vaporized within 4.26 thousandths of a second. Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to centrifugal forces 17,500.06 times greater than gravity. A 250-pound Santa (which seems ludicrously slim) would be pinned to the back of his sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force.

In conclusion - If Santa ever DID deliver presents on Christmas Eve, he's dead now.
