However it was apparently modified because the ruling classes were obviously more "fit".

Most of what we take as fact and truth are no more than generally accepted "theories"

BTW - what site are you getting this 'stuff' from? If you post your source It would be easier to see who is behind this 'stuff'. It`s just that it appears to be typical creationist speak.?

This "Stuff" I referenced in my post -

Evolution? According to the book "Spontaneous Evolution" (a theory that makes a lot of sense to me) Darwin took the basic theory from a working class guy who had no official qualifications, but who had travelled and studied, come up with the theory and offered it to Darwin for review.

I recommend the book highly (only the open minded need apply)

Who wrote the book?

Did you see extracts online or read the book?

When you say open minded - there is a huge difference between gullible and open minded.

Most importantly: You never said if you believe the Earth is only 6000 years old? Like your mate Robert Gentry? Why?

Nail your flag to the mast - we have.

(I hope it`s Bruce Lipton BTW)

'Pye points out there is no linear evolutionary path beyond 200,000 years. The evidence suggests that man was "created" here on Earth quite suddenly with no ancestral history.'

Not 6,000 - 200,000

What? Do you mean the Aliens started life on Earth line? I like that one better than the baby Jesus one that`s for sure...

Not started, but tinkered with. Life may be spontaneous given the right conditions, it must of started somewhere. The arrival of human sentinence is the point of conjecture that Lloyd Pye offers a plausible arguement for. I ruled out the baby Jesus myth ages ago contary to establishment programming at infant school and the herd ridicule syndrone.

It is more than likely a person existed of that name its the God stuff I have a problem with. If I've got it wrong will this belief send me to hell or reward me for my honesty?

Exactly.

Just be careful what you say to the "believers" ...you may offend someone. "God forbid" :)

If you don't believe what they do and say, you offend them. [We can have that now can we?]
If you make a point about something - not relating to god as a reason for it, you are mad.

Catch 22.

I agree.

The figure of Christ has been hijacked.

" I convinced myself that the doctrine of the church was in theory a cunning and harmful deceit, and in practice a collection of the grossest superstitions and sorcery, which completely conceals the whole meaning of Christianity "

Leo Tolstoy.

If you don't do good, you'll go to hell.

hey I'moverhere, you ain't ever touch a little boy for your own enjoyment have you? you should be ok. if you ever do, just get a priest outfit and say sorry.. it'll be ok then, it'll become acceptable that way. "Turn the other cheek" and all that stuff.

The God Squad are a touchy lot, they use offence as a weapon instead of accepting the possibility that people may hold different or in fact no beliefs at all.

The only hell you will go to is manmade imo.

When seeking revenge dig two graves, turn the other cheek is a reference to this.....the only way to defeat evil is through love.

Evil is a direct decent into hell, hell on earth that is.
A good example of this is Northern Ireland,we can learn much from sectarianism....you kill my brother so i kill you brother and your father. You then gun down my entire family...and so the spiral of hate continues down untill we arrive in a state of fear, suspician and violence.

No one wins,we all loose.
