DARK MATTER
An excellent way for "scientists" to get out of explaining things they don't understand. Now it turns out there is DARK ENERGY as well. Interesting. If they keep on looking, they will presumably find other DARK THINGS too...
I am not anti-science; just remember "There are more things in Heaven....."

Spot on my old friend. 'Something' is stopping the scientists seeing stars, nebulae, etc. What is exciting is that the middle of our galaxy (Milky Way) we have this unknown 'dark matter' which our sun will hit the middle of on 21/12/2012 at 11.11am GMT. It is amazing how the Mayans could date this and the time 5-10 thousand years ago-but thats another topic.....

Hello daveywales, I assumed that the wave of matter was a cosmic one, is that the same as dark matter? This is the only bit of 2012 that I will entertain in terms of actually happening. The Mayan seerers must have been 'far out there'! lol

I heard "some scientists" believe that in the middle of most galaxies (including the Milky way) there is a black hole, that will eventually swallow everything up around it (stars, planets etc). Could this be what scientists are referring to - or have they got themselves yet into another twist again...

A few years back scientists also said, "We believe the universe to be much younger than first thought" - about eight-billion-years old, as opposed to fourteen-billion - but then they could not understand why some stars are twice as old as eight billion. However, they soon realised, "we can't have stars older than the universe". They soon changed their minds on that theory, and now we are back to the first figure again of 14 billion, approx.

I think scientists live in the "dark" at times.

Unless they were brought here from a different universe which is older than this one.

Best keep that theory to yourself AllSpark, otherwise they will claim that next.

On the contrary Joe, this is one to be spread and considered- who knows what might happen in a fractal universe....

Do you have any wisdom to share, re the flower remedies you have been taking?

Yes, I agree, when we are talking about the universe (especially multi universe) anything is possible - I just did not want scientists to nick AllSpark's idea, when they get stuck for an answer (just in case).

Don't have any definite answers to that one, but if they are doing me any good (I hope), then that has to be a plus

hahahahaha........ Joe, i have lots of ideas and not many of them are right. But sometimes my brain goes into warp drive and thousands of things go rushing through my head.
I try to write them all down ( sometimes in the middle of the night ) then i try and research them a bit further. Some i just dismiss and chuck away, others i try to make some sort of sense of.
It's all to do with opening up your mind to let these thoughts in. I often only sleep 2 or 3 hours per night because my brain won't let up.
But i like it, i just wish i had more time to explore these things.
Some of it comes over as garbage and it's difficult to express in real terms.

They are trying to find answers to the mystery of the universe with their latest technology. However, even though their latest technology may be "state of the art" at the moment, I still feel it is like trying to measure the universe using an inch ruler.

We need alien technology to find out the mysteries of our universe, and who knows, maybe we do have the real answers already - but they fob us off with bullshit...

I'm the same, I can think of many practical ideas and great improvements for many of the things we have already. I have used some of my own ideas (in a small way) over the conventional ways of doing things that work - our minds are a powerful tool; if we allow ourselves time to think.

I mentioned to a businessman once (he worked for Boeing aircrafts), why is it that Boeing do not design the wheels of their aircrafts to spin round at the same rotation as the landing speed. In this way, the tyres will not burn up so quick, and would not have to be changed every second landing, thus, saving tyre rubber and money.

I thought he would be delighted at this idea, but instead, his approach was the extreme opposite. His response to my question was, "we are all in the business to make money, not save". He got agitated with me in the end, and finally said, "Keep your ideas to yourself, I'm not interested.

This goes to show the world in which we really live in, it's not about progressive improvement for the benefit of all, it's all about controlling the masses, and TPTB do not like people thinking for themselves and having good innovative ideas. From the day we are born, we are deceived and told lies at every given moment, from the top, and by those who peddle their bullshit and cannot think for themselves.

That's interesting Joe. Perhaps if you'd had an idea that would INCREASE Boeing's costs rather than REDUCE them, that ignorant asshole might have been all for it!!
