This author believes that there was once a religion/civilization that spanned the world. In ancient times.

I believe that too- lovely pics, thanks skipman.
What if these universal signs/icons were energetically symbolic of actual physical/physics/electrical process- I would like to think that some of them may be.
What do you think skipman, anyone?

Ok, have a look at this, extrapolates/deconstructs on the geometry of the flower of life motif. It could be the basis of chemistry or physics or aspects of both. I dont know enough yet to debunk or embrace, so thoughts appreciated,

There a some who believe that that the world once had a connected energy grid and that the pyramids found around the world were built on major ley lines and transmitted this energy.

I remember reading an article that suggested that there was once a civilization that was so vast that it traded with other societies on both sides of the Atlantic. To back up this hypothesis they produced a list of words that were common on both sides of the ocean even though the languages were different.

Later I read that cocaine and tobacco(only grows in America) was found in hair samples, of Egyptian mummies. Though debunkers are saying that the samples were contaminated.

This leads to another anomaly, this time from Europe to the Americas. During the stone age, each area had their own way of fashioning flint spears and arrow heads. Each particular shape was named from the area it originated from and trade links were traced, from the different areas of the world where they were found. E.G. jade axes from Italy have been found in England.
The Clovis people were from France but their style of arrows were found in America.
This meant the Europeans were in America 12,000 years ago but they were wiped out not long after arrival.

If it is possible for tools to find their way all over the world, why not ideas and beliefs?

I agree. If you look into the ideas of all religions they are basically coming from the same place of origin, but the stories have become so tweeked that the original meaning has been veiled from our sight.

I remember hearing about Egyptian mummies and cocaine suggesting trade links or going off at a tangent could this evidence also be that of common symbols for narcotic plants? The lotus symbol is everywhere...

Very interesting subject. You can imagine someone, way back, with a fertile imagination building a boat, looking at the stars and going off to sea. I wonder who the first navigators were? We may never know, but someone figured it out.
Great post skipman

After decades of saying that Neanderthal and humans were a separate species and could not breed with each other. The scientists are now saying that two percent of European DNA is Neanderthal.

This could also be a game changer,re elongated skulls.

In this area of South America these skulls have a larger volume than ordinary skulls. Which rules out binding or boarding. They are also heavier than normal skulls.

Old footprints or water erosion? I also read the suggestion that it could be algE deposits of some kind.
Lovely shape though for an ancient foot, if it is so.

The lady they interviewed on radio 4's science program seemed sure they were real but it would not be the first time nature has pulled a fast one on the experts.
