In the winter of 2014 the E.U. said that Britain was eligible to apply for aid in stocking up its food banks. Cameron refused.
After the floods the E.U. has a budget to help those countries whose households are not insured for flood damage. Has Cameron applied for these funds?
I forwarded this to a good number of people with the wording, "So you think the government is doing all it can to assist those with wrecked homes, farms and businesses after the floods (with more likely to come)? So you think the government really cares about those forced to go to foodbanks?"
This is my take on the issue: The gummint wants us to stay in the EU. People on their knees know that the EU is prepared to help but out illrustyarsed leaders say, "NO!"
Come the referendum, the people will vote to stay IN.
As Adolf is alleged to have said, if you want to pass an unpopular law, set up a situation so the people will ask you to do it.
