The definition I have given is accurate, out of a dictionary, and was in no way offensive for hundreds of years.. until 'they' decided to make it so in this country as a way of
thought control..- a tool used by the elite to distance us from our inner selves...

If you follow their logic it will soon become politically incorrect to call a muslim a muslim.. Or a Scot a Scot... He's not Scottish he's European... he's not muslim he's from the middle east..
It's all part of the deliberate distraction to divide us...

Banks are actually borrowing money from businesses to stay solvent, instead of the banks lending to businesses for the same purpose
Blue-chip names like Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N), Pfizer (PFE.N) and Peugeot (PEUP.PA) are among firms bailing out Europe's ailing banks in a reversal of the established roles of clients and lenders - Reuters

If you watched On The Edge over christmas and the new yea,r they had guests who had appeared over the year giving updates on what had happened to them. One was a lady who has an ethical modelling agency. She was a victim of the M.F. Global collapse. She had been informed that she was being listed as a lender to the company not a customer. Therefore she was being moved to the back of the queue for refunds not the front. The big guys J.P.Morgan and co, asked The authorities(guys who used to work for them)for the rules to be changed in their favour,(as being big lenders to Global they were due to get very little back) not the customers.

So they are lending money to the banks are they? This same company has told all its staff that there is not enough money in the pension funds, so they will all have to go on average salary pension instead of final salary pension, despite having contract agreements with them. I am sure the staff will be gladdened by the news that their pension money is being used to prop up the banks and the economy as well as their taxes.

If Scotland was actually to gain independance it would be really interesting to see the form of banking and money creation adopted. I do not believe any referendum should be held untill this matter and the form of government is sorted out.

I am afraid there will be a straight Yes - NO vote where the man in the streets decision is based upon bigotry and zenophobic feelings leaving them who grab power to make it up to suit themselves.

I agree, to a large extent, as at the very least different options need to be put on the table so once independent we can then make the informed decisions for ourselves.
I think having the currency backed by something (Eg silver>) is a good move and look at Libya (aye the old Libya) as an example of a potential option.
I also think that there is no point swapping one dictator for another - so there would need to be a huge revamp of Scottish politics..

An Independent Scotland would have to vote on whether or not to join the EU (for example).
Salmond wants (or at least wanted) us to join the EU. Hardly surprising if he is a Bildeberger.
As I think that Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales should govern their own affairs -
I see no point in being independent from Britain but governed by Germany/France (EU).
what we would need is another party in the wings (the SSP?) which has different policy on matters like that...

The ref. should be - do we want the right to govern ourselves...
The people of Scotland England Ireland and Wales should all have the right to choose when we send our people (troops) off to kill and die
Once we have that right we could then decide which party or policy suit us best re the EU and banking system.

This is where I start dreaming -
Once Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales are independent and ALL choose as independent countries not to join the EU - they could choose to join each other in a trade alliance?!
What's that phrase about - in order to build something new you must totally destroy the old..

Perhaps the SSP should start putting a blue book together
"The legitimate purpose of the individual's economic activity is solely to satisfy his needs"; it is not to create a surplus in order to gain a profit. Qadhafi maintains that profit and money will eventually disappear as basic human needs are met. The only provision for a differentiation in wealth is social reward, in which the society allocates to an individual a certain share of its wealth equivalent to the value of some special service rendered.'

Qadhafi's solution to the problem is to abolish the wage system. Rather than contributing to the productive process for the owner's benefit, or profit, the actual producer should be a partner in the process, sharing equally in what is produced or in the income derived from what is produced.

I am afraid there will be a straight Yes - NO vote

You and the Col. eh! - http://www.immortaltechnique.co.uk/Thread-libyan-socialism
Qadhafi also believes referenda are undemocratic because they force the electorate to answer simply yes or no to complex issues without being able to express fully their will

What we can look forward to if we do get independece is the REAL Stone of Destiny being paraded through the streets!

Thanks MK for that. Scotland is my adopted home and country after becoming a refugee from Thatcher's Britain 21 years ago.

All the points you raise are extremely valid and pertinate MK.

Scottish independance is an oppurtunity to escape control by the jackboot of the City of London and I'm saying this as being English by birth. I am sick and tired of being milked, lied to and misrepresented by an elected dictatorship that executes war crimes in my name and is no more than a corporate puppet.

I fear the oppurtunity will be lost and we will end up be run by a different dictator as you say.

To attain a real change for the best the people of Scotland will need the viel of deceipt to be lifted and true implications of chasing a carrot explained. I am afraid it will end up "more of the same with tartan knobs on".

That's a very real danger... Any campaign should (to me) be about - freedom from being forced into illegal wars, freedom from the EU, freedom from 'Codex Alimentarius'
(I really think that if they have any Nationilstic aims the SNP need to 'think again' about their EU policy)
We could then set up our own natural treatment health clinics & advise our citizens of the benefits nature's fruits have to offer re health - opposed to shoving chemo. down their throats. Anything nature provides is legal and how u live your life is ur choice

Perhaps we should go back to the old days when tax was payable in hemp & cannabis was a form of currency - money might not grow on tress but it could be grown on plants.. - there's a recession... shit best stay at home and grow more weed!!! LOL

Now there is a way to put money into the economy - Sell licences to grow weed. It would provide virgin income money and cut the link from orginised crime ( I am aware that orginised crime could be interpreted as the ruling elite.)

That's exactly why I am pro independence -

And although my bring back hemp as currency was part tongue and cheek - this is worth consideration simply because unlike paper money it has real value

http://www.jackherer.com/thebook/
The Report of the FCDA Europe - endorsed by Judges, Doctors & academics - reveals for the first time, the CANNABIS BIOMASS ENERGY EQUATION, which shows beyond doubt that cannabis-derived fuel, capable of providing almost all of our domestic and industrial energy requirements as well as running all of our cars without pollution, is easily a CHEAPER and safer form of viable energy. It is the huge oil and nuclear industries which have the main profit motivations for continued prohibition at any cost.

Biomass can be converted to methane, methanol or gasoline at a fraction of the current cost of oil, coal, or nuclear energy, especially when environmental costs are factored in, and its mandated use would end acid rain, end sulfur-based smog, and reverse the Greenhouse Effect on our planet, right now! Government and oil and coal companies, etc., will insist that burning biomass fuel is no better than using up our fossil fuel reserves, as far as pollution goes; but this is patently untrue.

Why? Because, unlike fossil fuel, biomass comes from living (not extinct) plants that continue to remove carbon dioxide pollution from our atmosphere as they grow, through photosynthesis. Furthermore, biomass fuels do not contain sulfur.

Hemp: The Perfect Brain Food
Few natural food sources have withered as much confusion, controversy and misinformation (and lack of information) as hemp which is unfortunate, and even ironic, given that it is one of the world's most perfect foods.

Great idea but why should we need a license...
HEMP/Cannabis provides us with an energy source, food - infact could provide a source for almost everything we could need..

Can you imagine what would happen to the Global Corporations if we could grow our own foods, grow our own fuel source and in effect - as like in the old days we could pay taxes with it - grow our own money.

Morning gang! Woke up and started my work at five this morning seening this ominous financial news. Standard & Poor's swept the debt-ridden European continent with punishing credit downgrades Friday, stripping France of its coveted AAA status and dropping Italy even lower. Germany retained its top-notch rating, but Portugal's debt was consigned to junk. Everytime we see these downgrades it highlights that the system is going down like the tittanic but in very slow motion. Personally I am glad that the crash is taking its time to arrive giving me time to prepare and finish things at Sanctuary here in Brazil.
