The Pub you are referring to, Stirling House, we actually went in that bar to ask the older locals if they had heard about the Gateshead Grey event. There is a real skill in sidling up complete strangers and striking up a converstation about Newcaslte United and then trying to swing it around to the subject of extra terrestrials. I also went into Saltwell Club and got the Bingo Caller to ask if there were any elderly people who lived near the club in 1940. Kerry was not impressed by Saltwell Social wine.

I will check out the Stirling House venue, I did not know there was a room upstairs.

Also, in Episode 6 of RP Series 3 I took Robert Hall down those streets and filmed him recalling the events. I have also invited him to the talk at the Bridge. Once he starts talking - he never shuts up!

With only a couple of weeks to go, to the Newcastle gig, can I make a suggestion that the forum members who are going should meet up at The Bridge, and pehaps get aquainted before the lecture starts.
I would be great to have a natter, and get to know one another.
And put a "Face" to the names

Premier Inn - not far from Millenium Bridge,

Or - as someone has already suggested, very cheap and cheerful Gateshead - Bewick Hotel

Bewick Hotel

You could walk from the Bewick across the High Level Bridge, in about 10 minutes

Good idea for us to meet before hand. The downstairs (main bar) is open all day we could meet any time. Hopefully I will have the upstairs ready by 6:30, to open doors at 7:00. There is no bar on upstairs, but people can bring drinks up. There may or may not be tables upstairs depending on numbers. So far sold 41 tickets, and I have about 8 guests on top of that.

I was interviewed by the Evening Chronicle and a journalist has written an article about my website and about the up coming talk.

The journalist has submitted the article to be included more than once and it has been knocked by by the editor each time. I discussed the Mutilation Phenomena and said that I had made a documentary containing compelling evidence of a very disturbing phenomena ocurring in many areas of the UK. I explained some of the injuries etc. I have also been in touch with a Mail on Sunday journalist about the mutilation stuff, and he has knocked it back also. I wrote an article for the Hartlepool Mail about the phenomena and they too have not published it. David Cayton got interest from a Farmers Weekly journalist, but again the editor knocked the story back when he discovered the subject matter.

It feels like a brick wall.

Annoyingly it is preventing me getting a plug for the talk to get more people there, which was the original point of the article.

New book claims to reveal official alien cover-up

Sep 26 2008 by Linda Richards, Evening Chronicle
An alien

WEB designer Richard Hall is convinced we are not alone.

The Newcastle University engineering graduate has written a book about how governments are covering up the existence of aliens.

Mr Hall, 40, from Sunniside, Gateshead, has self-published Aliens Before Gentlemen, which gives an eye-opening and provocative look at extra-terrestrials.

Although he has never seen a UFO, he firmly believes the truth is out there after reading evidence of people who have worked on government and military programmes to examine crashed alien craft in order to replicate their technology.

He said: "I believe such things exist and that the governments of the world have covered it up for more than 60 years.

"There are already a lot of non-fiction UFO books and they all tend to be about the same thing basically trying to persuade the reader that such things do exist by considering past experiences. My book is based on the opposite, it considers what is going to happen once the subject is revealed.

"I do go into some evidence but that is not the remit of the book."

The book describes UFOs, how they work, what aliens look like, where they come from, what they eat and lifts the lid on secrets governments keep. The book prepares the reader for an uncertain future but Mr Hall says it is not all doom and gloom.

"It is quite light reading there is an edge of humour in it," he added.

"It is not a prediction of the future. What I am trying to do is consider the type of things that might come out in the future which are being kept secret now. I discuss what aliens look like, how they behave, what technology they have in addition to UFOs and what could be released to the Earth if our governments allowed it."

After leaving university, Mr Hall worked for NEW, which was taken over by Rolls Royce until 2000 when he set up his own businesses in IT consultancy and web design.

He has used his talents to set up his own website, www.richplanet.net which gives an overview of the subject known as Ufology.

Having been interested in this subject for a number of years, he decided to set up the site to present the information in a simple and entertaining manner. Last night he gave a talk on the subject at the Caedmon Hall, Central Library, Prince Consort Road, Gateshead.

Mr Hall has also produced a 62-minute DVD which discusses how UFOs "fly", how to detect them, what to do if confronted by an alien, what technological changes could be in store for Earth and what the political and religious implications of the alien agenda are. He is preparing a six-part show for a satellite channel about it.

I am not really supprised Richard.
I feel that the press will not stick there necks out on contravercial subjects.
Its a shame after all the effort that you must have put in.
I have written to my local paper a couple of times about the "Disclosure Project" and they did not even have the deciency to answer.
Your right "Brick Wall Time".
But I am sure that the people that do go will make it a great evening.
I am sure we are ALL looking forward to it.
