Here's a book review of the smoky cod , can't resist ;)
The book is only 50 pages long and wasn't ever written to engage or entertain as such. It's the written narrative/account of Olaf Jansen, as told to Willis George Emerson. Thus it can't be reviewed as 'bad' simply because it lacks more detail or excitement. Emerson has simply reproduced, with a brief introduction, Jansen's account of accidentally voyaging to the world 'within the earth' whilst on a sailing expedition with his father. Whether you believe Olaf's story or not depends on your own ideas about such things. To his credit, Jansen doesn't provide fantastical ideas (if you leave aside the fact that everything in the 'inner earth' seems to be of a gigantic size - giants, giant trees, plants and animals etc) but instead provides a brief overview of what happened; how he got there; what surpised him most; and how he got back - then losing his father and later being committed to a madhouse for twenty eight years. What comes across most convincingly in this short account (if Jansen told Emerson this account on his deathbed then it explains its brevity as an account) is the fact that throughout the account are quotes from other navigators and explorers' accounts inserted, apparently as Jansen had wished included. This suggests that Jansen spent a lifetime trying to reconcile his own experiences with the findings of others who has sailed that far North, desperately trying to legitimise what he experienced. This suggests an honesty in Jansen's account. However, Jansen could also have been a wishful dreamer who wanted to fabricate, and offer convincing support for, a fantastical tale. Since Jansen died after telling Emerson his story this seems unlikely. Unless he wanted to leave the world some sort of legacy. Either way, it's an interesting account. One is left to wonder though, if Jansen gave Emerson maps of the inside world why didn't Emerson reproduce them in the book? Emerson said they went to the Smithsonian Institute - that same place that hoardes hundreds of artefacts and proofs of earlier advanced civilisations never to be seen again by the public. I guess we'll never know if this account has any legitimacy since the Smithsonian Institute is unlikely to help. Personally, I plan to investigate some of the accounts of the explorers and navigators that Jansen quotes. I'm still intrigued. A worthy read if you're into this kind of stuff and don't mind the fact that it's a little light on in-depth detail.

Since my realisation that ufo's are real, it always puzzled me why there were flotillas consisting of such large numbers. What are they up to ? I would ask myself, why so many ?
What is the reason for simply flying about ? Surely not just joy riding and looking out of the window, and surely not all for grabbing people for some experiment or two. Could there be another reason ?
I have read much of Zacharia Sitchin's work and recall his translation of the epics written in cuneiform script. One such story relating to the formation of the asteroid belt, consists of two planets colliding and parts that were smashed off formed the belt. I don't know the physics behind this or if it is in fact possible. Neither do i know the total mass of the collective asteroids. Nevertheless, something occured to me today whilst brushing the surface of the hollow earth theory.
I recall Sitchen's theory that the ET's originaly came to earth to mine for gold. But surely gold is not the only rich mineral to be found here on earth. Realising that the ET's probably have technology that is'nt even imaginable to us, is it not possible that they have been mining deep within the planet and dumping the excess waste from this operation into the asteroid belt. Indeed, is the asteroid belt the whole contents from within the earth ? Are these flotillas of UFO's, miners taking the waste up to space ? What is the mass of the interior ( minus the 300-500 miles of crust as stated by those who claim to have been there) compared to the mass of the asteroid belt ?
I don't have the brain capacity of Keith Hunter to even attempt to answer this question. In fact, I would'nt know where to start. I hope someone who reads this does, and can let me know if this idea is even remotely possible.

above post continued....
There are many sightings of huge UFO's within our atmosphere, why ?
Why do they need such large ships? what are they transporting ?

In regards to the hollow earth theory...... well first off , so far i like it.
The huge hole at the north pole ( somewhere ) which was shown in this link i provided URL reminded me of this picture of the mysterious spheres which have been dug up ( far right )

Now, the line across looks like the equator and the hole is quite near it. Did i read somewhere that a pole shift would tilt the axis of the earth so that the area near the equator would end up at the pole ? Is the sphere a representation of the mining hole's position on earth previous to the last pole shift ? Is there some technological reason that required them to move it to the pole, did they cause the pole reversal ?
what are those little rascals up to ?

wouldn't the resulting change in the earths mass change our orbit ?

Wouldn't gravity be massively reduced ?

Whats to stop a 'cave in' of E.L.E proportions ?

As for the waste, they just dug a hole and buried it.

As i said, technology that we could'nt even imagine. Is it not at least possible that they could overcome these 'small' problems. I suppose the proof could only come from the analysis of the asteroid rocks themselves compared with whats beneath us. If it could be shown that they are of the same material. Not much chance of that happening though is there. It was just an idea.

Even then what about the internal sun, seas and fantastic / extinct species that alledgedly are to found inside the Earth. Cant wait for the book to arrive, it'll be at least a week -mutter, mutter, grumble....
There is also the possibility the whole legend is a metaphor, like Man the Microcosm, about what lies within each of us, as beings...

If you have deep pockets there is a trip being planned;-

"Physicist Dr. Brooks Agnew offered to become our new expedition leader and the Currey expedition members voted "Yes" to that offer. Dr. Brooks Agnew subsequently renamed the expedition the North Pole Inner Earth Expedition, and has been working ever since to raise the money to fund it. Of the 100 possible seats on the Russian nuclear icebreaker that is hoped to be chartered, 20 seats are reserved for former expedition members. The rest Dr. Agnew wants to take are scientists and other technical people to record in detail any discoveries made. Since these nuclear icebreakers will be decommissioned at the end of next year 2012, and the reservation fee of $700,000 must be paid by December of this year, 2011"

Physicist Dr. Brooks Agnew

Doctor of Physics, Brooks Agnew discussed that HAARP can be used for weather manipulation and for causing earthquakes and even in the battlefield to subdue the enemy. He also discussed possible cataclysms that may occur around 2012, and offered an update on his planned North Pole Inner Earth Expedition. The current timetable is to embark on the expedition in August 2009, traveling to the Arctic region aboard a nuclear powered icebreaker. A helicopter and ship stored in the icebreaker will be used to advance scout for a hole that might exist in the curvature of the crust, he detailed. Agnew said ancient Mesoamericans described visits from the 'Shining Ones'-- possible ETs, who may have given them the knowledge of astronomy, architecture and agriculture. One of the Mayans' complex calendrical systems ends in 2012, coinciding with the Earth aligning with a black hole in the center of the galaxy, he outlined. This positioning will cause planets to heat up in the solar system, and potentially wreak havoc with our climate, he said. Dr. Agnew also discussed his north pole expedition in search for inner earth. To listen to the entire show, subscribe at http://www.veritasshow.com

yes, i did see this before, however this will probably all end in tragedy. Anyone warned off from such endeavours ( amongst other things ), usualy ends up in the cemetery.

I loved Rawhide, & 3 mules for Sister Sarah, but, like most heroes, I never saw him run. He'd chase on a horse, or stand & shoot, but I cant ever remember his, or the others, John Wayne, etc. RUN!!

Did anyone see Tom Cruise in War of the Worlds last night on BBC3? Id seen it before, but it was stranger now than Id remembered. The best part of the original film was the music.
