I've heard and felt lots of things, seen dark shadows and things out the corner of my eye but haven't yet seen a full apparition. Even after knowing these things are real seeing one would still probably freak me out. Saying that i would love to see one.

ABOG ~ I had that from a very young age, but got more pronounced when husband died. Incidentally, he's around me again at this time, as its the 10th Anniversary of his death on 20th of this month. He is ALWAYS around me birthdays, xmas, any celebrations we had, & of course his anniversary of his death. We were apart when he died, but I distinctly heard him shouting for me & KNEW exact time (confirmed at Inquest). That opened up my belief that I WAS being told the truth (in my head) as family kept telling me I was imagining it before that. After his death, I could tell those same family things that had/was happening to them in their private life, & what to watch out for. A lot of my senses were awakened during this time, & I found out I could do lots of things I couldnt do before that, (or believed I wasnt capable). I spent the next 3 years learning more spiritual stuff that I had only read about in the past, I got lots of experience about spirits, I saw them, talked to them, worked with them, etc. The one thing that really scared me, apart from some of the rescues I did with my friend, was whilst healing a man with MS. I had a thump on my back, felt someone "within me", my arms legs, body ALL expanded fast, & I was paralysed to do anything about it. I couldnt move at all. When it subsided, both my patient & my co-healer said they had seen a big Native American young brave, wearing one feather, who had walked away from me. He is STILL my guide, he helps me whenever I need him. He told me he specialised in bone problems, & used to find dead animals, & dig a hole, arrange their bones the way they should be, & learned how to pick up WHY these injuries had occurred & what to do about them. He said I would always pick up on bone problems (& I DO). Incidentally the man with MS greatly improved from that day on. I can walk past someone in a shop & "feel" their pain & where its coming from. I now protect myself if I have to go into a busy area, but often now shop during the night, 3am onwards, in order to stop the near contact with people. I tend to stay away from crowds whenever possible.

'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this as I've always seen them as different words for the same thing.

there is no death we as humans live on this is mear a training ground we need stop thinking we die we just move on why carnt anyone see this

I believe we are light bodies when you get by this dense body, over the years I have been able to prove to myself that there is a light body, mostly more so over the past 5 years with my heart problems and having by pass surgery I was able to see myself being operated on, the doctors and nurses, and who was waiting for me, one thing I did notice was the amount of light bodies that are around hospitals, some in great distress others looked happy, it was only for a few moments before I was back in my hospital bed and sharing information with the doctors and nurses and was able to tell a nurse where her phone was lol.

I havent had a NDE personally, but Ive sat with terminal cancer patients & seen who was waiting for them, & listened to their personal conversations. These patients have held my hand & passed over peacefully. I personally believe I am a connection for them to see what is in store for them & to ease their fears of "passing over." If this is correct, then Im definitely not afraid of death myself.

The above are just some of MY personal experiences, & are 100% true. You believe what you want to believe.

Anthony Peake is as I type on Edge Media talking about consciousness, daemons (guardian angels) and the afterlife. Funny, I was reading through his site the other day. Worth a look for those interested- if you haven't already

What do people on here think about timeslips? I believe that when conditions are right, doors to the past open up and we are able to witness events from the past. This happened to one of my lecturers when he was on a camping holiday in France in the 1960s. He was exploring the lanes around a fairly rural village when he happened across a scene that he described as being straight out of medieval times. He heard voices speaking in archaic French and saw people just going about their daily routine as if he wasn't there. Their mode of dress was medieval and he got the overall impression of a country market. He went to unpack his Kodak but as he did so, the people vanished as if in a haze, leaving him back in the 20th century. The man concerned is now dead and I don't know if he ever put down his impressions on paper; it would be unlike him not to.

Anyone else on here had a similar experience?

Yes, possibly. I was 18/19 years old and worked in a bookshop. I was serving a young boy and as I was giving him his change I was suddenly in a sunny meadow in summer with the boy, the counter and the till, all in slow motion, then I came back to find the boy looking at me strangely. Have never made sense of that one- I had had something to smoke which may have been a contributing factor! Your friends experience sounded wonderful, especially hearing an old version of the language, very interesting.

I think Timeslips are quite possible, if not probable. We tend to think of "time" as a linear thing, but why should this always be the case? Perhaps under certain conditions we can perceive it differently; when in a different state of mind we can see things being replayed as if on a tape or catch a glimpse of the future.

Hi Kozmik you might find this interesting, a mentors experience of time slips, which lead him to question his sanity. The writing is quite believable.

Why We ALL Have Psychic Powers: How Thought Premonitions & Telepathy are More Common Than We Thought

7th February 2012

By Dr Rupert Sheldrake - dailymail.co.uk

Like many mothers who feared for their family's safety during World War II, Mona Miller was evacuated from London to the peaceful seaside town of Babbacombe in Devon.

It seemed like a wise precaution but, shortly after her arrival there with her young children, Mrs Miller became increasingly uneasy.

'I had a feeling that I must leave Devon and return home,' she told me.

'At first I dismissed the idea; why leave when I was so happy and contented despite the war going on around me?

These are my thoughts and feelings on the matter too. I guess than many of us have felt that "other wordly" feeling at times. When things just aren't the same and we can't explain why. Maybe timeslips are inter-dimensional and we cross an unseen barrier into a world that exists parallel to ours but in a different time. It's a fascinating topic and one I think I'll read more about.

DK, dunno why you highlighted those words. I don't see why we couldn't pass from the 21st century in our universe into a parallel one where it's the 15th century or some other period.

I agreed with your thoughts. It is quite possible IMO. I hit the wrong key & it sent, & was so tired so went to bed, sorry, but am still awake. Sleep evades me again tonight.

OK. Thought you might have been taking the Michael but that wouldn't have been the DK that I know from here. Try some chamomile tea or some valerian root tea if you can't sleep. If that doesn't work, a good belt of scotch will do the trick.

Id hopefully, not take the Michael unnecessarily. Certainly not on purpose.

I dont sleep often, my brain wont shut down. It plans events long before they are needed, & consequently I dont sleep. Ive tried everything, even a stiff one !! Bacardi & Coke I meant.
Just leaves me with headache.

I decided that Id just sleep when Im tired, whether day or night. My mind is hyper-active but unfortunately the rest of me doesnt live up to it...
