I have called you a 'twat'.....nothing more, and nothing that could be construed as 'vulgar'.

Have a nice weekend.

Anthony Andrews played him best!

I thought that Ciaran Hinds did a creditable job of the role of Brian de Bois-Gilbert in the TV version. As I recall, Christopher Lee played the Templar Grand Master in that. He used a similar wardrobe for his later role as Saruman.

Really? I just love the old camp versions. A film I bought on DVD was the old 1938 Errol Flynn Adventures of Robin Hood.

Also one of my all time favourites (and camp as Christmas) is Anthony Andrews again as the Scarlet Pimpernel. Have you seen that one? It is worth it alone simply for the sword fight at the end - with the faces AA pulls in the pauses in the fight. Classic!

If you want a good sword fight, check out 'Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter.' There's a superb scrap at the end between Kronos and the vampire. It's a real pity that Hammer didn't develop this character in other films. As a plus, the gorgeous Caroline Munro also starred. I had a severe crush on her.

No, I can`t stand sword fights. It`s the comedy campness that makes the best ones so good.

Unbelievable! Someone actually uploaded the sword fight scene I was on about! Watch this - classic!

Anyone who used to watch that way back when (70`s?) can never forget that music. Brilliant.
