To be honest, I know nothing, DK is your best bet. I do find it interesting.
Have you looked at a map that shows Europe, the rest of the UK and looked at the shapes made by intersecting lines to see if there is a repeating pattern? I noticed the star shape where the lines cross on ur map.
Have you done any dowsing in the area?
Philip Gardener on Edge once made a prog about laylines in Scandanavia (I think) and many churches were built at intersecting points-sacred geometry/energy at work.

I do, but cant read info. Its too small. Have to check it for you when find out where it is.... broken glasses..
I know this though

This is a fairly easy walk since you follow a military road for much of the way towards High Willhays. However, as the photos show you are high up here and the weather can be quite unpredictable. It is bang in the middle of the military area. (look for ventilation places, usually mushroom shaped with vegetation on top, slit holes in sides).

Possible prehistoric cairn on the summit of Dartmoor's (and southern England's*) highest mountain. Pastscape description:

A revetted mound adjoins the south side of one of the granite outcrops at High Willhays. Measuring 19m east to west by 18m overall it stands around 0.8m high. The sides of the mound are formed by coursed granite slabs and boulders and the top is largely flat though a hollow has formed in the southern half. This feature must be regarded as a tor cairn though its construction is somewhat uncharacteristic of similar features. There is no evidence to suggest the presence of a cist or a more conventional kerb. ???

Im not familiar with that area, living the other end of the country, but anything possible, a remote(ish) area, anything goes !! Just my opinion... hope it helps. If I find anything, Ill let you know. Most of these installations are build over old Roman sites. Are there any in that area? Any animal mutilations nearby?

I did a years course in geology at College which contained Earth Energies, ley lines, etc. so try these, see if they help. The first link is a link I trust (the whale/to one).

I am very wary of the latest practice of "fracking" & I believe this will lead to many earthquakes, in the UK as well. dk

We have all seen intricate crop circles but what about seabed circles?
These are jaw dropping, especially when you find out who makes them.

Technically this is a geoglyph but it is massive. Has anyone heard about this one before as it was supposed to have appeared in August of 1990? This is the first I have heard about it.

Sunburn, I can highly recommend Kevin Desmond's book: "Aviation Ghost Stories: South by Southeast 165 Degrees." Mr. Desmond followed this particular line from the north of Scotland to SE England. On it lay numerous airfields where ghosts had been reportedly sighted. It also passes through stone circles and various other points of paranormal activity. I started reading about this subject after my wife came face-to-face with an apparition in Norfolk in a church close to a disused aerodrome.
