OK very nice, beautiful, gorgeous, smashing, amazing guitar. As long as you dont put photos of various parts of your anatomy at the end of dead threads to lure inquisitive minds into a trap and a shock. You could have some fun with the right photo because everybody takes a look at new post on dormant thread.

Anyway I was trying to get a different conversation going

Very nice guitar

Do you think all of the moons around other planets were towed there too?

Not sure about this you know.

What about that theory that the moon is a bit of earth that was smashed off zillions of years ago?

The idea in a nutshell:

At the time Earth formed 4.5 billion years ago, other smaller planetary bodies were also growing. One of these hit earth late in Earth's growth process, blowing out rocky debris. A fraction of that debris went into orbit around the Earth and aggregated into the moon.

Why this is a good hypothesis:

The Earth has a large iron core, but the moon does not. This is because Earth's iron had already drained into the core by the time the giant impact happened. Therefore, the debris blown out of both Earth and the impactor came from their iron-depleted, rocky mantles. The iron core of the impactor melted on impact and merged with the iron core of Earth, according to computer models.

Earth has a mean density of 5.5 grams/cubic centimeter, but the moon has a density of only 3.3 g/cc. The reason is the same, that the moon lacks iron.

The moon has exactly the same oxygen isotope composition as the Earth, whereas Mars rocks and meteorites from other parts of the solar system have different oxygen isotope compositions. This shows that the moon formed form material formed in Earth's neighborhood.

If a theory about lunar origin calls for an evolutionary process, it has a hard time explaining why other planets do not have similar moons. (Only Pluto has a moon that is an appreciable fraction of its own size.) Our giant impact hypothesis had the advantage of invoking a stochastic catastrophic event that might happen only to one or two planets out of nine.

Was it John lear who claimed the NASA line was bullshit and that the moon is alot denser then stated. This has been sussed from conversations between Houston and the astronauts where they refer to passing the neutral point as in gravitational pull between the earth and moon. From the location of this point and basic Newtonian physics it is easy to calculate that the moon is a lot denser, higher mass and has stronger gravitational pull than we have been told.

Its difficult to differentiate between speculation and theory when you can't even be sure of the facts or their source.
Its this thing about the the centre of gravity being offset thats strange because it could have something to do with the hollow moon theory which in turn could be in connection with it being manufactured then positioned in orbit so with its rotation, one side allways turned away so bases and other things could be hidden. Someones telling porkies.

P.S. I'm definately going to be wary now if you awaken any dormant threads starseed !

starseed will you please keep pictures of your instruments to yourself.
I opened your last reply and pissed myself.
I've got Vangogh's ear for music when it comes to playing anything so a picture of my school recorder would be pretty pathetic.

Hang on how did we get here from a moon thread.

Another thought - Perhaps the mega egos of some of the posters on ATS is causing our solar system to slowly warm up with the NWO exploiting the situation to introduce a carbon tax. The secret ruling elite may even be starting threads to wind up the scribblers on purpose to further their aims - Now thats what you call a proper conspiracy theory.

The musical abilities of you lot are making me feel insecure and is feeding my feeling of being irrelevant.

Please stop or I will post a recording of me whistling in the bath.

Me and a mate did build a speaker cabinet with rotating horns and integral quad amp for Madness in 1981. They could change the speed of rotation to cause a phase effect.

I don't feel so bad now, so bring on the photos, I can take it.

Do you think the man in the moon will now post a photo of his ladle.

Ha, got you back to the moon.

Have you ever heard the band Mrs Thumb and her four daughters playing One Over the Knuckle ? - there must be a video on YouTube. It is imperative there should be no such links on this forum. In view of this keep those guitars coming.
