How can the front of his suit be seen in complete shadow. The surface of the moon has the reflective properties of tarmac and they had no extra light sources with them.

You have to read this stuff instead of just parroting the tired old claims. It`s a fucking drag - I know - but all of the answers are there. It`s just up to the individual to choose whatever you want to believe.

Here is the page to read

Appropriate answer:

This is one of my favorite HB claims. They give you the answer in the claim itself: "...if the Sun is the only source of light..." It isn't. Initially, I thought the Earth was bright enough to fill in the shadows, but subsequently realized that cannot be the case. The Earth is a fraction of the brightness of the Sun, not nearly enough to fill in the shadows. So then what is that other light source?

The answer is: The Moon itself. Surprise! The lunar dust has a peculiar property: it tends to reflect light back in the direction from where it came. So if you were to stand on the Moon and shine a flashlight at the surface, you would see a very bright spot where the light hits the ground, but, oddly, someone standing a bit to the side would hardly see it at all. The light is preferentially reflected back toward the flashlight (and therefore you), and not the person on the side.

Now think about the sunlight. Let's say the sun is off to the right in a picture. It is illuminating the right side of the lander, and the left is in shadow. However, the sunlight falling beyond the lander on the left is being reflected back toward the Sun. That light hits the surface and reflects to the right and up, directly onto the shadowed part of the lander. In other words, the lunar surface is so bright that it easily lights up the shadows of vertical surfaces.

This effect is called heiligenschein (the German word for halo). You can find some neat images of it at here, for example. This also explains another HB claim, that many times the astronauts appear to be standing in a spotlight. This is a natural effect of heiligenschein. You can reproduce this effect yourself; wet grass on a cool morning will do it. Face away from the Sun and look at the shadow of your head. There will be a halo around it. The effect is also very strong in fine, disturbed dust like that in a baseball diamond infield. Or, of course, on the Moon.

We will never know - because we are never going to go there.

No - I don`t get annoyed. I find it ludicrous when both sides of a discussion are not looked at, especially when answers are readily and easily found within seconds. Enjoy these answers to your questions btw.

Personally - I don`t care anymore about the first moon landings, it simply does not matter at all IMO if they did or did not go the first time, as it is well known and accepted that subsequent missions did go so? What`s the point? Utterly pointless apart from a bit of an online chinwag. Cheers!

(you might be right? I don`t know)

Actually - this is excellent:

This is an index of all the photographs we examine on this site. For the most part they are the photographs that appear on conspiracists' sites, or in conspiracist books, complete with their annotations.

PDF report : Proof of Moon Shift

Mon Mar 14, 2011 1:07 pm (PDT)

I also myself observed an incongruency of the new moon wth the bottom
sickle not totally obscured, on Sunday March 6th 2011. It looked
strange, to my judgement.

Enter Tyche/Nibiru.

The whole Moon-Landing Hoax thing - well - I never believed that any of it was faked. But it has been very enjoyable and even educational reading about it. I can't wait to use heiligenschein in a sentence.
It is a good idea to question these things and no real harm has been done.

No, you are right. If one did not question anything and just blindly believed what one read on the internet one would have to be very very very gullible or as thick as pig shit.

I read all the moon landing hoax stuff and thought (like most) wow! They faked it I have all this evidence ! - Then slowly but surely you realise this 'evidence' just does not hold water when sound explanations are put forward for each and every item.

Being skeptical is an absolute necessity when we are dealing with many outlandish claims made by so called internet experts.

The moon has NOT started to careen wildly across the sky.

A recent analysis of a Lunar Laser Ranging (LLR) data record spanning
38.7 yr revealed an anomalous increase of the eccentricity e of the lunar orbit
amounting to e˙meas = (9 3) 10−12 yr−1.

e˙meas = (9 3) 10^-12 yr^-1

They're saying that there is an anomalous discrepancy in the expected eccentricity of the moon's orbit ... but only by an incredibly small deviation and one that could only be measured by very sensitive equipment.

It works out to 8.4 millimetres per year.
In the 38.7 years they've been observing this, the moon's apogee has gained a sixth of a metre while the perigee has lost as much.

To the naked eye, the moon remains exactly where it should be in the sky.

LOL - Over time, this could become a much more significant effect... especially in 89 billion years, when it causes the moon to come crashing down on the earth.

either way:

The Moon's orbit (its circular path around the Earth) is indeed getting larger, at a rate of about 3.8 centimeters per year--it is getting farther from the Earth.

500 million years from now the average size of the Moon will appear a few percent smaller, because it would be about 20,000 km farther out. The Moon is also pulling back on the tidal bulge of the Earth, slowing the Earth's rotation down. One hundred years from now, the day will be 2 milliseconds longer than it is now.

So, even 1 million years from now, the Moon would have moved just 40 km farther away. That's a long way in the future! The distance moved would hardly be noticeable. Nothing to be alarmed about.

It's nothing to do with earthquakes, HAARP, "chemtrails," Nibiru, the New World Order or 9/11. (Not that that will stop anyone.)

'There are some people who think that the moon was actually placed into orbit. It neither came from the Earth or outer space. It began its journey in a circle on the circle. But they are just unscientific aren't they?' LOL - YES!

Interesting stuff on Nibiru

when its gets within obvious range ( there for all to see through telescopes etc) thats when the internet will go down......... amongst other things maybe... IF you believe it all that is.
You can only make that decision for yourself.
