ONT FORGET IF YOU WANT TO CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR THE FIRST DAY IS

22ND DECEMBER - IF YOU USE THE GREGORIAN CALENDER AS REFERENCE.

This day is the first revolution of the planet as it starts it's orbital journey back towards the sun from the furthest eliptical point and a meaningfull place to start the year from.

I now mentally celebrate this day every year.

Well yes, winter solstice is the symbolic death/rebirth of our Sun.

IF YOU WANT TO SEE HOW SOLAR ACTIVITY (REALLY) AFFECTS THE EARTH'S WEATHER, CAUSING EXTREME EVENTS - THEN THIS IS THE SITE TO BOOKMARK...

Piers Corbyn's presentation showed the major advances in power and skill now achieved by his Solar-Lunar-Action-Technique (SLAT) of weather & climate forecasting which now includes the ability to predict from months ahead extreme events all over the world and changes in the Jet Stream such as those which caused the West Russian heatwave and the Pakistan super-deluges and floods and marked their ending in mid August 2010. In his presentation Piers showed a film of the double sunspot superfast solar coronal ejection on 14th August and the consequent Sudden Ionospheric Disturbance and the predicted jet stream disruption...

http://www.weatheraction.com/

The technique uses predictable aspects of solar activity - particle and magnetic effects from the Sun - and lunar modulations as the basis for forecasting weather many months and even years in advance. The essence of the technique is explained in scientific presentations...

And you`d never get him as a guest Richard, but no harm in asking?

Atmosphere on the Moon!

He must have seen a rare out gassing of one of the covered craters that are used by the moon base.

Charles Olsen, 52, believes his "exclusive" photograph will challenge popular science with proof of extraterrestrial beings and prove there's atmosphere on the moon.

"I have the evidence," he says, revealing a series of photos which he took one cold October evening nearly two years ago.

He learned through the evening news a rare lunar eclipse was set for cosmic alignment that very evening.

"I knew this was going to be a big deal, a big opportunity," he said, adding a full lunar eclipse only occurs every 120 years

John Lear refers to there being an atmosphere on the moon somewhere in this interview and shows what he claims to be photographic evidence. I cant remember where it is though.

John Lear

Is this not Ricahrds fave person? he is a bit bob lazar? about these 2 guys? :)

I don't pretend to know about this but riddle me this..

If the moon doesn't have - lets save gravity or an atmosphere.. how the hell does the "Moon dust" stay where it is? If you jump or kick up the moon dust, yes, maybe it takes ages to fall back down again, but that would be a lasser presentage gravity then to us on earth.

BUT, it stull comes back down again = gravity, correct?

why not a lower presentage atmosphere too?

Heres some stuff about the moon's gravity for you

http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2004/MichaelRobbins.shtml

and here is some conjecture regarding the difference between the actual and calculated neutral point indicating there is sufficient gravity to retain an atmosphere on the moon.

The entire Moon has less than 10,000 kg of atmosphere.
Sodium and potassium have been detected using Earth-based spectroscopic methods.
Argon, helium, oxygen, methane, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide were detected by in-suit detectors placed by the Apollo astronauts.

It really is a tiny atmosphere though. Technically not an atmosphere.

The moon does have gravity, it just has much less than Earth due to its mass. It's small gravity is enough to keep the dust attached to the surface though.

If this planet does get a fatal strike I would prefer it if the point of impact is my forehead. A biggy would be extremely devasting knocking the Human Race back thousands of years. Good thing bad thing? Something critical has got to give soon wether its peak oil, total financial collapse, class war between the haves and have nots, controlled human cull, famine, disease, freak destructive weather events, global pollution event even alien intervention etc. Just remember the powers that be are considering creation of, or reaction to similar scenarios but not with your best interests at heart. Plan accordingly.
