It is no surprise that governments spy on each other, even their allies.

They are not supposed to spy on the individual, Obama ordered spying on journalists who were nor writing nice thing about him.

When the senate found out that the CIA was using parapsychology for information gathering i.e. spying they decided to keep it classified.

When a whistle blower came forward to a congressional committee with information of the I.A's wire tapping of high ranking judges, business men, TRUMP and others, was he listened to and action taken? Correct.

So he took 600,000,000 documents and gave them to some one who would do something.

We know about Philby, Burgess, Maclain and Blunt. It was always suspected that there was a fifth, there was and he was named but not with the same fanfare as Blunt.

Yes, but this stuff is over 20 years old. Rothschild was one of the 'Apostles' but the KGB controllers of Burgess and Blunt have denied he was the fifth man. Who knows? My money would have been on Cairncross.

Who knows?

Who indeed. Deception and lies are all they know, truth is an anathema to them.

Would they recognize the truth if it stared them in the face?

As we're on the topic of spooks, I seem to remember that an MI-6 agent was murdered a few years ago in London and his corpse stuffed into a duffel bag. The press tried to make out that it was a bit of gay S&M that went wrong but then the story vanished from the papers. Was anyone ever arrested for the murder or was it permanently swept under the carpet?

This is a chicken and egg situation. Has the government or the I.A.'s thought up this back door snooping bill?

Either way it will be bad for the public and the government. The more governments and security agencies try to gain a tighter grip on the population the more they lose popularity and trust. It is akin to mercury, put a drop on your hand and it will stay there, try to close your hand around it and it will slip out.

What makes the above so called secret plan worse, is that, one it is no ,longer secret. Two you build vulnerabilities into a system, outsiders will find a way in, exploiting it for their own needs and sometimes turning it on its creators. Three it vary rarely works for the use it was intended but it will make a great blackmailing tool.

The I.A.'s are going to love this devise. Though I believe they already had it before these guys came up with it. Can anyone think of a good use for this other than bad ones?

When you have politicians and news whores perpetually saying that all 17 I.A.'s have confirmed that it was the Russians who hacked the DNC.

Not forgetting poor snowflake Johny's thesis paper, The Doors influence on Trump winning the election. He swore blind it was about Putin's influence.

Fact: there were only three agencies who said it was "highly likely" that Russia was involved. That is akin to claiming that if a woman is pregnant a man may be involved but we cannot say definitely which one.

This is an article from The Nation, they claim that they have proof that it was a leak not a hack. When they say that William Binney is part of the group that has analysed the data it is worth looking into. Despite it not receiving any mention from the MSM, well would you admit you were wrong after months of telling people that an "assessment"

Definition of assessment

1
: the action or an instance of making a judgment about something :

was definitive proof that the Russians hacked the DNC

The CIA is 70 years old, I wonder what they have done in all that time?

Well here is what we do know. Americans must be so proud.
