Hya Joe how do you do it.I want to try it.

It's easier said than done, and I've been trying for years (I'm no Buddhist) with some success and mostly failures.

When relaxed at night in bed usually, you need to get into this twilight zone between consciousness and semi conscious awareness without going to sleep or moving; if you can manage to stay in that state long enough, then you will leave your Earthbound body behind.

This can be a very frightening experience at first for some people, because of the uncertainty of what is going on; in and around you, but the more you practice the more you will become used to the strangeness of this phenomena.

We all astral travel at certain moments when we are asleep, but we soon forget this because most of the time we are un-conscious during this period.

It is possible to control your astral projection by staying aware of your surroundings until the transition takes place, and when you finally return back to your Earthbound body, you will remember every thing (and not as a dream).

Once you realise and discover for yourself there are other dimensions out there, you will never be able to convince a sceptic, only you will know (and those that don't want you to), along with others that have experienced this phenomena for themselves.

If I had the means and money I'd go to Kirismati Island in the central Pacific Ocean because that's the place where the sun first rises every day. Any other ideas?

Go a few thousand miles to the next Island afterwards to see the Sun rise again!

One idea is to arrange a special airline trip that follows the dawn all the way around the world.

On second thoughts that's not really my idea of a party: an entire day in the twilight, scrunched into a seat that's too small for me sipping warm white wine in bottles that are too small, and eating egg sandwiches that look like something my grandmother might have picked up with her ration book.

Did these people who saw you at that moment try to approach you? It would be interesting to get more details on this...

I already posted it quite a while ago but got poo-pooed then. It is quite personal, but Ill give you the gist of it.

After my husband died, quite a while after, I met a man, a really nice Scotsman, who worked for the MOD as a survival expert. He was often called away, so there were sometimes when we couldnt be in touch. One of these times, was when I woke up flying looking down at the traffic. As far as I knew, Id just been dreaming, although it was a weird dream for me to have. The next night I had a phone call out of the blue, he had gotten back home the night before, dropped all of his gear & gone to bed intending to ring me the next night. He was woken up feeling someone was in bed with him. His words were "I could smell your perfume, could feel your body & the heat from you, I KNEW it was you." When I asked what he did, he said he was paralysed & couldnt do anything, but after quite a long time, he jumped out of bed & put the light on, & I wasnt there. The doors, windows were still locked after his trip, so he knew nobody else could get in. He was adamant it was me. I told him what had happened to me & he said he was relieved to know that & next time to let him know & he'd leave a window for me & to watch out for the seagulls!!

Another time, same man, was doing a training exercise in the North Sea with 6 pupils (?).
It was winter-time, snowing heavily, & they were outside the Harbour, when a wave turned their rigid raider over. The extreme cold was affecting them & they couldnt see where to swim to. They were all experiencing strange dreams, & he looked around slow, & there was a clear patch in the blizzard & he could see me on the beach to the side of the Harbour. He gathered his men, & they swam towards me. Obviously I wasnt there, but I told him exactly what time it had happened, because at that time I was very cold indeed, had put my thick dressing gown on top of my clothes & coat, turned my heating up full & 2 duvets on my bed, but couldnt get warmed through. I was warm on the outside but inside I was shaking & shivering. That lasted about 45 mins, then all of a sudden I was back to normal & ok. I always knew when he was in any danger because it affected me the same way. He always knew when I was around as well.

There were quite a few times these things happened, mostly with him.

dk[quote=MK_DON]That's my screen gone a bonnie pink colour... i know what that means :o)

I can guess. Happens to me before I get a strange message.

I didn't know it had that effect MK

Personally I would not touch any 'street khat' with a 20 foot pole... simply because after they FALSIFIED deaths so to push through legislation which made it illegal
the 'source' would most likely be the same as most other illegal drugs (i.e. Criminals In Action opposed to China) & as a result I doubt it would NOW have the same properties as the actual plant
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mephedrone
According to Fiona Measham, a criminologist who is a member of the ACMD, the reporting of the unconfirmed deaths by newspapers followed "the usual cycle of 'exaggeration, distortion, inaccuracy and sensationalism'" associated with the reporting of recreational drug use.[29]
By July 2010, mephedrone had been alleged to be involved in 52 fatalities in the UK, but two were caused directly by mephedrone.[102] The first death reported to be caused by mephedrone use was that of 46 year old, Stirling Smith, who had underlying health problems and repeatedly injected the drug

What i meant was that i will do some reading/research but thanks for the heads up.

I understand what your saying about knowing exactly what your getting. I always used natural produce i.e. Psilocybyn ( when it was legal officer ;) and Peruvian torch for divine consciousness exploration. I knew the legal importers at that time. As a kid cocaine and amphetamines never interested me as the scare stories of what they were cut with put me off, same with mephedrone when that was legal.

I'm being drawn to trying Ayahuasca this year and i'm watching for developments in the test case for the legal use of in the Santo Daime churches that have appeared over here recently.

Yes, these things can be "cut" - BUT dealers want their clients to come back for more, in my experience they don't cut the product too much, with anything too toxic, it would defeat the object. Media scare stories are just that. I have taken heroin for over 20 years and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I thought, "That was crap, I won't buy more from him," don't get me wrong - I'm not proselytising here; but it's just like that old chestnut "Acid makes you think you can fly, that's why they jump out of windows" - Bollocks - media lies - I must have taken 200+ trips and never once did I do anything crazy like that OR know of anyone else who did; that's not to encourage anyone to do it though.
As for Ayahuasca; good luck if you can find it, ABOG, post on here and let us know what it's like!!

Magic Mushrooms were banned in Holland after......a 17-year-old French girl jumped from a balcony during a school trip to Amsterdam.. If she had been drunk would they have banned booze?????

News is supposed to be objective, isn't it? . . . But every drugs story is negative? . . .
Same LSD story every time: "Young man on acid, thought he could fly, jumped out of a building. What a tragedy.
" What a dick! Don't go blaming acid on this guy. If he thought he could fly, why didn't he take off from the ground first to check it out? . . .
I'd like to see a positive LSD story. Would that be newsworthy? Just once? Hear what it's all about? "Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."

I'd have loved to have been in court to witness this

The son of a convicted notorious mobster, John Gotti Jr, when asked in court if the family still dealt drugs cracked, "No, we can't compete with the government."

Yeah I totally agree with what your saying now. Back then and not so worldly wise those stories put me off but more importantly i was big into my fitness and always wanted to know exactly what was in my food, drink and drugs etc.

Another thing that gets my goat is that people who should know better i.e. people who view things skeptically from MSM listen to the very same media and parrot those views when it comes to drugs...some of which have very important theraputic and very powerful spiritual benefits.... hypocrites is what they are!!

I attempted to make my special needs class (learning difficulties as well as children who should be in mainstream but have been so neglected that cannot cope with it.) aware of Shamanism. I had a really interesting chat with a boy about reincarnation. His mother told him that if he was good in this life he would be reborn as a millionaire!- that raised more than a laugh in the staffroom. I presented shamans as people wh love and respect the energies of nature. I took in my dowsing crystal and showed the children the energies of the heart and brow chakra- they were all strangely fascinated. How much made sense? Well that's the big question!
