I'm not surprised to hear that the Government are bugging us on everything we do in life - this only goes to show they are scared and losing their grip in controlling the people - this has to be a good thing. As far as "coincidences" are concerned, I do not believe there is such a thing, there is a purpose to everything, good or bad.

Yes, I actually think this is GOOD news. Such an open and transparent reaction against us that they must be on the rearguard now.

Boris Johnson, hopeful future British P.M. has made the obligatory pilgrimage to his masters in Israel.

He also had this to say about the BDS movement.

If you make an informed choice to withhold your support(boycott) of something is that not a form of democracy and a peaceful one at that?

He loves to play the fool and come across as a harmless eccentric, but he's a dangerous man. His contempt for the working class is evident by the way the most outrageous planning applications in London are rubber-stamped without a thought for the neighbourhoods in which developers want to plonk their concrete and glass monstrosities.

Before you skip over this thinking ham radio won't interest you, read on. This is Big Brother in test mode:

Some ham radio operators are wetting their pants with excitement over a new system that's coming in. Yaesu Fusion is a system combining standard FM and digital audio. It has the added "advantage" that the operator enters his grid reference and the guy he is speaking to can instantly see exactly where he is, distance, the works. It will even report to your mates when you switch the set on and let you know who has been on and whom you have missed. Another system that's fairly well established is APRS which will show on a map where you are when out mobile or portable.

Yes, they think it's great! IMHO it's simply the early stages of testing software we will all be compelled to carry about.

It's the same old story: You want to take something away from people, in this case their annonymity, so you lead them to believe they are getting something to make their lives better and they will actually PAY GOOD MONEY to have it.

One that concerns me immensely is it will let all and sundry know where you are NOT and where you've been when you maybe ought not have been. Say you use ham radio at work and let's say you skive half an hour off for a haircut. If your boss is a ham you are in for it! And who hasn't fiddled an extra tea break now and then? You need look no further than our MP's for would be violinists! (Violin - a fiddle.) Or perhaps you are away from home? Why not just place and ad somewhere stating "M T HOUSE and too far away to get back in a hurry"?

These are supposed to be clever people but they can't hear the chains clanking for the tinkle of the bling.

When the French bombed Raqqa in retaliation for the Paris attack, all the news outlets reported.

"according to the French defence ministry. The jets hit a command and control center, jihadi recruitment center, munitions depot and a training camp."

They neglected to mention a sports arena, museum and a number of clinics. Pur quoi?

Why on earth would the Turkish government shoot down a Russian jet, even if it were in its air space?

I think Erdogan has been in power to long and has become paranoid.

When he lost the previous vote and lost his majority in the parliament,he called a new election. He also started bombing the Kurds who were gaining ground against IS/ISIS/ISIL.
This lead to protests which are normally heavily policed.

One was not,the police were conspicuous by their absence. A suicide bomber killed many people. Erdogan claimed it was the rebels and only he could defeat them,so the people/sheep voted for his party. How many times have we seen that before? Yet the sheeple still fall for it.

When the Russians started bombing the oil tankers that made their way to Turkey, with stolen Syrian oil, this would have hurt Erdogans economy, which is already in a fragile state.

Turkey has been playing both sides as have most of the countries involved in this sordid affair. So why shoot down the plane of a country that is attacking the very rebels that Erdogan claimed bombed his people?

It has been said that the only way to stop the coming economic collapse is a war,a big war. Russia would do nicely. Putin is already the big bogie man, in Western eyes. They claim he is wanting to re establish the old Russian Empire.

He has already out played the West in most of their feeble ploys. How is he going to handle this provocation?

The Western MSM is mainly saying that the downing of the Russian jet is Putin's fault for continually violating Turkey's air space.

What if Syria's president Assad bans all U.S. and its allies planes from Syrian airspace?

Two Russian helicoptors tried to rescue the pilots. one was forced down and then blown up by an American supplied TOW anti tank missile

America is urging Russia and Turkey to calm down over the shooting down of the Russian plane.
I wonder if he would be calm if it was an American plane?

Putin does not have to go to war over this but he will certainly make life very uncomfortable for Mr Erdogan and his family.

They make a lot of money from the stolen oil from Iraq and Syria.

http://journal-neo.org/2015/08/24/erdogan-s-dirty-dangerous-isis-games/

When a newspaper revealed Turkey was transporting weapons to IS/ISIS/ISIL he called it espionage and arrested the editor.

https://www.rt.com/news/323557-turkey-arrests-editor-cumhuriyet/

Turkey earns over four billion a year from Russian holiday makers. It is safe to say that is going to take a dive, along with Egypt.

The Western press may not report any of the above but Putin will have his pound of flesh.

Baz, a mate of mine, emailed me today to say how he's starting to see the real world. He sent me a few links that do make interesting reading. This is one: (The subject was that the global elite are beginning to lose their hold.)
http://tothedeathmedia.com/10-signs-the-global-elite-are-losing-control/

I replied thus:

Baz,

They also know that people are very complacent. All they need do is back of a little and everyone will go back to watching corrie and it's happening now. This is how:

Just yesterday, George Osborne announced that he won't have to make cuts in tax credits after all because the figures he has are surprisingly good. Much better than expected.

What a load of bollocks! Do you REALLY believe he only found that out yesterday morning? No! This was just a hyped up load of horseshit to make people worry for months on end then by telling them there's nothing to worry about, the day before the biggest shopping day before Christmas, they suddenly think the battle is won. They go berserk with their credit cards and the trading figures go through the roof. Everyone feels good because, as Tony B Liar said after 7/7 and Georgie Boy Bush said after 9/11 "GO SHOPPING"!!! It makes people feel good. It rakes in billions in tax and more importantly, it drives people into more debt thus fuelling the merry go round.

People really are completely blind to what's really happening.

Good post nordsee. Others have spotted the jiggery pokery but not the press.

A labour M.P. was being interviewed about her leaning toward backing Cameron when it comes to bombing Syria.
She claimed that Assad was the biggest recruiter for IS/ISIS/ISIL when he barrel bombs his own people.

I surmise she thinks that when American,French,Australian,Canadian(now pulled out) bombs kill innocent civilians. This has no effect on the numbers joining the other side at all. Especially when the guests at wedding parties, including the children are blown to bits and when hospitals are continuously bombed for over an hour despite frantic phone calls pleading with them to stop. Once we join in it will all be just fine.

A thought on the downing of the Russian jet.

I recall the Russians announcing that they would inform the Americans the locations of all their flight sorties so no confusion or accidents would occur.Funny how the Turkish planes just happened to be in the area.
