Has anyone on here seen the alleged photo's of "space vehicles" in and around the earths atmosphere?

It's a couple of years ago that I saw them, probably on youtube, and if I remember correctly the guy that took them was british, and using some kind of home made rig?

Hey Kozmic,
Even with a half decent camera and lens you can expect to get photos of the moon similar to mine with a little bit of practise

Photograph of the Moon

I have remembered the name of the man - it is Andrew Basiago I think? Please Google this information.

I think (not sure) but it is something like this:

Project Pegasus was a classified, defense-related research and development program launched by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in the late 1960's. In the You Tube interview with Ms. Schab, Mr. Basiago "relates his experiences in DARPA's Project Pegasus during the period 1969 to 1972, and describes probes to past and future events that he took via teleportation and chronovision during the early days of time-space exploration by the US government."

According to Mr. Basiago, the US government already had a fully operational teleportation capability in 1967-68, and by 1969-70, was actively training a cadre of gifted and talented American schoolchildren, including himself, to become America's first generation of "chrononauts" or time-space explorers.

This training, he said, culminated in 1981, when, as a 19-year-old, he teleported to Mars, first by himself after being prepared for the trip by CIA officer Courtney M. Hunt, and then a second time in the company of Hunt. Both trips, Mr. Basiago said, were made via a "jump room" located at a CIA facility in El Segundo, CA. The apparent purpose of the trips to Mars was to familiarize him with Mars because the CIA knew of his destiny pertaining to publicly establishing the fact that Mars is an inhabited planet and deemed it important that he visit Mars and experience its conditions first-hand.

Further: I hope you will see now that humans still inhabit Mars to this day, and from this secret jump room you could - in fact - go to visit them if you had access to it.

Hi Skipman, thanx for the info. Most interresting. And Sunburn, thanx for the photo link. Excellent pic.
I've read/watched some of the arguments re: did we go to the moon/was it a video hoax, and I must say I do have some issues with the official story. Skipman, you kindly offered to fill in details of why you disbelieve the hoax theory. If you have the time, I would like to read what you make of it all.

Thanx, IOH. I have just watched first part of "Dark Mission 1". Very interresting. What is the concensus re: David Percy et al.? I thought he made a very good case for there being problems with the official version of the Apollo story.
I want to believe that man landed on the moon in 1969 - and things keep coming up that make me question the generally accepted truth.
I have seen UFOs. More than once. The major media tell lies about this. I view their pronouncements with a cynical mind. I could easily accept that nasa lied about their various achievements in space, but I remain open to debate. What do folk think? If I'm in the wrong "thread" then please re-direct me. I thank you, each.

Hey Skipman, totally agree with the analysis of the moon landings.

It sometimes makes me wonder how humans became the dominant species when you look at youtube comments.

As far as the moon landings go,it is done, dusted and then dusted some more with regards to it not happening.

Then again,it makes you wonder why we havent been back.Something seems strange about the whole episode.Astronauts and nassa personel have gone on record regarding our little grey friends hanging about the place.

We do suffer badly with the weather in UK. These last two years have been appaling. Not so bad this winter.

A12 inch dobsonian, NICE. these were called light buckets when they first came out. They were for deep space viewing mainly. If you are going to attach a dslr make sure it is motor driven.

My advice to any one wanting to buy a telescope is to join your local amateur astronomy club. They have lots of equipment and are more than happy to let you know the pro's and cons. Most have star parties were they bring their eqipment for others to see.

Nice moon pic btw.

I think the whole Race to the moon and the subsequent claims by NASA was a massive and dare i say a reoccuring case of anxiety in the American institution, specifically connected the pace of the Russian technological advance at the time.

I feel a lot of the claimed achievements where nothing more then elaborate hoax's and embellishments, in order, not only in the public eye, but in the eyes of the country's military & government to reassure themselves of their self importance within the world stage.

The fear of communism spreading to heartland of the American voters was played upon in the countries media on daily basis, the propaganda machines were well oiled, and such the powers at be couldn't risk appearing to the world and the international community as a 2nd rate technological country.

So, I would suggest NASA, did land on the moon, but maybe not when they said they did, and what they said they achieved may not have been as clear cut as we are led to believe.
I feel the Achievements at least in the era of the space race where propaganda first, factual second.

Ultimately, the real question what everyone should be asking is, why did the Russians not continue on their space plan and put a Russian on the moon, was the American "achievement" so profound that the Russians fell for it hook line and sinker and pulled the plug, or did they continue and land but the worlds media was blacked out to the info?

Skipman, you kindly offered to fill in details of why you disbelieve the hoax theory. If you have the time, I would like to read what you make of it all.

One reason was the mirror that I mentioned in my earlier post. It had to be alighned correctly to return the laser back to earth and not reflect out into space.

The second is the clincher. As you know Russia was also trying to get to the moon. Just to rub the Russians nose's well and truly in it. When they got back with the moon rock samples, they gave some to the Russians.
This was a gesture that spoke volumes. " It was American hard work and ingenuity that got these and we are sharing them with you. We know that if you had got them first you would have rubbed our nose's in by offering them to us. Thereby gaining a propoganda coup for yourselves.

It is well documented that the Russians had spy's all over the place. If they could have proven that NASA had not gone to the moon and those rocks were fake, can you imagine the hay they would have made over that "See what liars and cheats these capatalist Americans are?"
The cold war was hot and the stakes were very high. There was no way they could afford to pull a fast one on this.

No one in their right mind spends all that money, time, and effort just to bring some rocks back.

Sunburn, fecking right on, man. That just makes total sense to me. I am just going to have my last, bedtime smoke, and retire to read Geoff Stray's "Beyond 2012 - Catastrophy or Ecstacy", a weighty tome indeed, but worth the effort, I think.

Skipman, I thank you for the info. Are there not further issues with the moon rock? I think I read somewhere that it is very difficult for even an accredited scientist to get hold of the smallest sample to conduct any independent analysis of the material alledgedly returned from the moon. And could not robot probes have returned samples anyway? Did the Russians not do this?
Re: The Laser Reflector. Where exactly is this? Can we access any data concerning it? Could an astronomer in England, for example, fire a laser from here and hit it, or do the various complexities of science preclude this?
I didn't even study physics in High School, so please put me right if I have made any obvious errors of logic.

The laser reflector works by reflecting a laser pulse fired from earth back again. The length of time taken from emmission to receipt multiplied by the speed of light and then divided by 2 for the there and back journey provides a very accurate measurement of distance. Anybody with the right equipment could do it.
