Translation:

Policemen reacted on many phone calls, which alert them on 19 mysterious bodies.

Policemen:

"We watched these objects at an angle of 45 degrees."
"I took a camera and did shoot it. It was appearing as big flaming balls."
"Naturally, I cannot determine a distance, but that airplane blinked and we heard it, and it was under them."

News-man:

"The videorecording was viewed also at a Slovak meteorologic institute in Bratislava, and they do not know to explain. However, ufologists understand."

Meteorologist:

"I can say that visible phenomena are not connected with a weather. That night was clear weather, temp. cca 12 deg. C, light wind in Trencin. Nothing what would have testified to some optical phenomena."

Ufologist:

"It is UFO..."

News-man:

"Objects was changing formations and disappeared soon. At first sight it seemed as a constellation, but ufologist denies it."

Ufologist:

"Because stars at filming create a certain spectrum around them."

Policeman:

"It was bigger in comparison with stars, I'd say a shape of a football and a pin."

tion. Radiation, though, is trickier.-----2005?

Back in the 80,s an mbc suit offered 6 to 8 hours protection against radiation, that didn,t bother me as my life expectancy in battle was less than 30 mins !!!!

No, thank god, the closest i ever came was in Wales when we were doing escape and evasion. We wre dug in and told to hold the line. For 4 days and 4 nights we waited then at daybreak on the 5th day the gherkas launched a gas attach, we already had our nbc suits on but i still got a bit CS gas in my eyes and lungs, there were so many of the little sods we wre overwhemed and then had to attempt a " fighting withdrawal " In the confusion the GPMG team got lost, there was so much gas you could not see were you were going ! [SABENA.... such a bloody experience, never again !]

Are UFO's Buzzing the UMKC Campus?

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Is there life in outer space? And if so, when E.T. phones home is he dialing an 816 number?

A local group that investigates UFO close encounters said it's getting more reports of UFOs in our area and more interest in the organization.

When you see reports about UFOs on the internet, it's hard to separate fact from fiction. But, that's exactly what a group of UFO investigators in Kansas City is working to do.

On May 31, witnesses saw two unidentified objects near the UMKC campus. A man reported it to MUFON, Mutual UFO Network, and gave investigators a drawing of what he saw.

"He grew up on military bases and couldn't identify it at all," said Margie Kay, Director of KC MUFON.

Kay said sightings like the one at UMKC are on the rise since the start of the year. They used to get one or two sightings a month. Now, it's one or two a day.

"It's keeping us all too busy. Yes. At one point a couple of months ago I received 11 reports on the same day," said Kay.

Kay is also noticing a lot more chatter on websites. One message board used to get about 12 posts a month a couple of years ago, in January 2009, it received 129 messages.

When someone makes a report, Kay said they interview the person to weed out fake reports. They examine photos or drawings of the close encounter.

"And, then we check radar reports and weather," said Kay.

The government's official stance is that UFOs are natural phenomena like stars and clouds or regular aircraft or even a hoax.

But, Kay said her group will continue to search the skies for answers.

"We want to know what's going on. We want to know the truth behind UFOs," said Kay.

KC's MUFON group is hosting a Mysteries of the Universe conference coming up July 18. It's expected to draw as many as 300 people.

UFOs have been seen scrapping it out in the night skies almost every night. Yes it's true for we have seen it for our selves. Night vision and infrared optics are a great tool to have when proof is what you are after. After a little training as to distinguish the difference between light aircraft, commercial aircraft, satellites, falling space debris and shooting stars, what remains is phenomenal to watch.

Crafts that move at variable speeds slowing down and speeding up, stopping on a dime and jumping out of range from a dead stop. Some craft seem to change size and others get obliterated by some form of weaponry. This type of viewing has been presented by Ed Grimsley to the public for years and is now becoming a very popular event to attend. Ed has been featured on Coast to Coast, CNN and other popular media coverage networks as well as a guest speaker at many UFO conferences throughout the country. While working for the we grabbed a pair of Eds military issue night vision optics and witnessed the wars that has been telling and showing others about since he was a youngster. We decided to contact Ed on June 12th and after a 45 minute phone call with Mr. Grimsley we decided to put it out there for anyone in the Sacramento and foothill areas to attend one of Ed Grimsleys viewing events, which can be scheduled for the local area. I assure anyone out there that you can and will see what your looking for on any given night with the exception of stormy skies due difficulties with line of sight. Ed's schedule places him in various parts of the country every week or two so pinning him down for a Sacramento viewing will require some response to this column to the Sacramento UFO Examiner. Below is one of many example of craft filmed using night vision equipment.

Campers treated to night-time display as 'UFO' lights move across the sky

By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 1:05 PM on 15th June 2009

Campers were treated to a spectacular light show from a string of glowing orbs which flew in formation across the night sky at the weekend.

It is the latest in a series of sightings which have excited UFO spotters across the UK.

The lights were seen drifting over the Park Foot campsite in Ullswater in the Lake District on Saturday night.

People rushed out of their tents to stand and watch in awe as the lights soared through a clear sky.

Camper Paul Haigh, 28, of Darlington, said: 'Most people had turned in for the night but we were woken by a commotion.

'Someone had spotted something and dashed out to get a better look. Soon everyone was outside their tents and looking up into the sky, it was like a scene from Close Encounters.

'The lights were amazing and seemed to fly in formation, they were darting around, fading and lighting up again. There was ever more than six in the sky at any one time, but as one faded another lit up, it was a really weird spectacle.

Witnesses said the lights seemed to be moving in formation

'There were various theories as to what they were, someone said Chinese lanterns, but they seemed to be moving too fast. They looked as though they were being propelled under their own power rather than being blown by the wind, it was a still night.'

Lucy Gray, 26, of Leeds, said: 'They seemed to be dancing around in the sky, not just racing straight across it like clouds. They were moving in formation, keeping a regular distance apart and they'd all shift around at the same time.

'It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen and I can't explain it, unless they were aircraft on a training exercise.'

The weekend's display is the latest in a string of sightings across the UK of unidentified flying lights.

This month alone, unexplained illuminations have been spotted in Lincolnshire, Merseyside and Cambridgeshire.

Sphere UFO seen near Roswell, NM

Witness sketch. MUFON image.

Two friends sightseeing along a lonely stretch of highway near Roswell, New Mexico, watched an orange-red object moving across the sky, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The witnesses said the object suddenly disappeared for 5 to 6 seconds, the reapeared further away, split into two objects, then the two objects rejoined each other.

Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If New Mexico MUFON reports back on this case, I will update this page.

The following report and its headlines is unedited. You can read my selected cases by type of UFO report at the UFO Traffic Report index page.

NM, June 10, 2009 - Night time sphere like object disappears then reappers within seconds, splitting in two then rejoins again before vanishing near Roswell NM

While on a short sightseeing vacation trip to NM. from CA. from 9 Jun 2009 to 12 June 2009,on Wednesday, 10 June 2009 both my friend and I were traveling west leaving ROSWELL towards CHACO CANYON NATIONAL HISTORIC PARK via US 70.

We decided to follow a route via US 380 West towards SOCORRO, and see if we could find any available lodging on route. After securing a room at a local motel in the town of CAPITAN, we decided to go for a ride and check out the countryside and stars that night, since the skies had turned clear enough to do so. Somewhere around 8:00 pm(20:00 hrs)we found State 234 eastbound and headed towards ROSWELL (Lincoln County).

For those unfamiliar with, NM STATE 230 is a 2 way road which appears to be mostly used by local farmer traffic and apparently not a very busy road at night. Providing NO light pole illumination, night falls quickly after dusk(or sometime between 8:45 PM and 9:10 PM or 20:45 to 21:10 hrs this time of the year). I had to engage the vehicle's high beam lights through out our entire ride, in order to better see the road's contour reflectors/markers/signs and also to avoid hitting any of the local wild life. In the 2.5 hours that we'd traveled to & from on this road, no other vehicles were encountered (nor could be seen at a far distance in the mostly flat landscape)in either direction.

Sometime around 9:00 PM (21:00 hrs)we'd reached marker 41 on STATE 230 and after passing this marker, but before reaching 42, we decided that rather than continuing further in that direction, it was best to go trail back westbound for a spot to stop. So we turned the car around and parked just on the shoulder of the road by marker 41, before heading back west to CAPITAN. We turned off our vehicle's engine & lights, and sat there inside the vehicle talking in total darkness, checking out the view and commenting on how dark it was for this chilly, clear and moonless starry night(up to that point...a full moon rose up later on round 10:00 or so PM (22:00 hrs).

At about 9:10 PM (21:10 hrs) and with the western skies providing just a bit more of lighter dusk shades on the horizon than the darker eastern skies, my friend and I both noticed an object, and although we couldn't make out the outline of it's fuselage, it had a very bright and steady glowing orange to reddish light. At first I thought it to be an aircraft traveling typically fast in a straight line, in a nor-east to east bound direction and at what seemed to me to be at a 30 degree angle above both the barely visible horizon, and the western mountain range.

Having served in both the USMC & the USCG, I am well familiar with many types of military aircrafts, so it seemed somewhat odd to me that a craft traveling that fast at night, did not have any other type of fuselage lights "ON", nor did it produce the familiar distant sounds of jet engines, or sound barrier blasts we're all familiar with.

I was just about to say something to my friend when at that very same moment he bursted out saying: "What is that?"..."do you see it?"

No sooner does he asks... when this the object suddenly disappears, vanishing for what we'd estimated to be 5-6 seconds, when it suddenly re-appears again further along on what seemed to me to be 2-3 clicks to the east (still traveling on a straight course)when suddenly IT SPLITS INTO TWO(2)lights(of same orangish-reddish color), which traveled parallel to each other at first, then separating/widening apart in an arc fashion, until just as quickly both lights seemed to REJOIN or "MELT" back into ONE single light- VANISHING immediately thereafter. There was absolutely no sound or echo whatsoever of a collision, nor was there any visibly "hot" falling debris falling into the desert landscape, nor did we see any smoke or "trails" in the sky or fire coming out of the desert landscape thereafter.

My friend and I sat there for about 5-10 minutes both perplexed and excited at what we'd seen. We asked ourselves a number of questions (i.e.: was it fireworks?...was it a satellite?...could it have been spotlights? but none of these questions seemed to have a rational answer as to what we'd witnessed on that night. The entire episode lasted approximately 30 seconds and although I had a digital camera with me, unfortunately I could not retrieve it and power it up quick enough to take pics of the event given how quickly it all happened.

These chinese lanterns are a pain in the arse, even if it is calm on the ground there is very often a stiff breeze above1000ft.Im not saying these sighting are lanterns but when there are several of them moving across a clear sky at night they must look like, well, a UFO.
I,m sure a large proportion of recent orange light sightings are lanterns....perhaps not all of them.

Fireball in Finland

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7axEo...layer_embedded

Finland, 06-13-09

Iltalehti newspaper reader filmed ball lightning (fireball), or some unknown flying object while driving on road Lansivayla close to the capital city of Helsinki in Finland.

It was last Saturday, on 06-13-09, and during a thunderstorm, as you can readily see from the video below. If the object in question was ball lightning, it would be incredibly rare, and I believe it has never been filmed before.

Ball lightning last usually only couple of seconds, and diameter is from couple of inches to 1 meter.

Photographer: Veli-Pekka Heikkinen

Editor's Note: Knowing what I know about ball lightning, the object in the film is NOT ball lightning. This is not saying that I know what the glowing object is, but maybe one of our readers has an idea.
