sorry to hear that DS i`m an I.T tech so i know how frustrating that can be.:( if its an old system have you considered linux/unix as an alternitive it is a lot less memory hungry and its free i would recommend ubuntu if you have not got a lot of experience with linux as it looks and feels window llike, also heaps of open source software out there and plenty of support.try it you may be pleasantly supprised.

Mystery over UFO sightings

Published Date:
11 June 2009
By Alexa Copeland
THE saying that the truth is out there could be about to take on a new meaning in the area after a string of mysterious sightings in the sky.
Suspicious bright lights dotting the night sky above Bridlington and Flamborough throughout May drew curious members of the public to contact the Free Press in an attempt to get to the bottom of the strange events.

Alan Norrie, of Field Road, Bridlington, was one who witnessed the most recent example on Monday, May 25 of a large glowing light shining brightly before quickly disappearing.

He said: "I went into the kitchen and looked out of the window into the back garden and noticed there were a lot of stars in the sky.

"Then I saw a really bright light flashing and all of a sudden it moved.

"It looked like a really bright halogen light shining down. I shouted my wife to come and look at it, but she said it would just be the police helicopter. But it wasn't.

"There was no noise and it can't have been a plane either because they have flashing lights, but there were none whatsoever."

Mr Norrie contacted Paul Sinclair, of Blackburn Avenue, who has a website dedicated to such sightings.

He said there had been a number of recent sightings in the area.

The mysterious light was also witnessed by Maggie Masters and her daughter, Cindy, 16, who said they saw the light from their home in
St John's Avenue.

Mrs Masters said her daughter saw two strange objects in the sky, but only took notice after spotting the second one.

"We went outside to see and it was white and a gold colour inside.

"It looked like a police helicopter's search light, but it couldn't have been because it was so quiet, there was no noise

"Then all of a sudden it moved to the right and disappeared behind the houses.

"I used to scoff at things like this, but it was really strange."

More intriguing activity in the skies was captured by Nicole Sinclair, who photographed a red object above her home in Mount Crescent.

Nicole, 14, who witnessed the strange light, said she is convinced the light is a UFO and added she had sent the picture to Calendar News.

She said: "I saw lights that were red in colour and they were going really quickly across the sky.

"I looked out of our back garden and there were quite a lot and I think it was a UFO."

Further suspicions have been raised after a burning object with trailing jets of fire was apparently witnessed moving towards Scarborough from Flamborough Head earlier in May.

The Baines family, from Flamborough, watched it unfold through a telescope.

They told the Free Press: "A meteor would have moved much more quickly and a plane burning up would have plummeted to the earth presumably.

"It wasn't a sky lantern or anything light in weight because it was not moving erratically or slowly.

"The only thing we could think of was that it might be a piece of satellite burning up."

And a bright red object, described as being three times bigger than a star, and hovering below the clouds, was also spotted at the beginning of May out at sea towards Flamborough Head by a dog walker.

The thing that gets me the most DS is when I look up at
the sky at night time, all I see is stars and a hollow moon
sometimes.
AND there are beings who can travel to them.
But the main thing really is that we as a human race have
been denied this gift because of human nature AND alien
nature !

a hollow moon

I m not saying the moon isn,t hollow but by looking at the surface it has obviously taken a lot of big hits, if it is hollow then it must have a very strong crust. I,ve read most Icke,s books and i admire him for his guts, knowledge and energy he has for " the cause ". However he claims the earth is hollow with a central sun ! Whilst it is possible there are vast cavities beneath our feet I find it too fantastic to consider his theory.

It wasn't David Ike's theory, as it's the basis for Jules Verne's work "Journey to the Centre of the Earth".

It has been suggested that the moon was brought from another
star system and is relatively recent.
The race that brought it here hollowed it out and used it as a
kind of giant starship rather than building one.

It is a srange fact that the moon is 400 times smaller than the sun and 400 times closer too earth hence it makes an exact fit when eclipseing the sun..coincidence ? However this istemperary as the moon is drifting away at a rate of 2cm every year.

Samples taken from the Moon show it to be composed of the same rock found on Earth. The theory being that billions of years ago the Earth sufferied a massive metoerite impact which smashed it a part. Overtime gravity caused the debris to reform into the Earth and the moon. Much of how our planet works is based not just upon the orbit of the moon, but the female menstral cycle is linked to phases of the moon.

Did you know that years ago people suggested that the Biblical parting of the Red Sea was caused by the Pluto passing by the Earth until it found a nice spot to orbit the Sun. An event which supporters claimed passed out of human memory. These caused Karl Sagan to write a paper on the subject, in which he showed in great detail how such an event was not only impossible, but it would actually cause the destruction of both planets. Despite all the evidence and common sense they still believe that it happened. People can believe what they want, but belief and logic has to yield to the laws of Physics.

Perhaps because the earths gravitational pull holds it steady ? I once met Buzz Aldrin, I should have asked him.

that and what was it like going through the van allen belts with no rad protection? :)
if that were true and the moon is leaving the earths gravity by aprox 2cm a year shouldnt it be starting to spin a little more than it does? or change even slightly?
